This is a retarded thought, but what about the Nintendo Aero-U. You know W is double-u. Maybe a little reference to the Wii in the W. Maybe Aero-U shows how fast the system is (really high power). A slogan could be 'the next sky high thing, you'll feel on top of the word (terrible slogans but if nintendo saw these they could probably work something similar out. I dunno why but HD and aero have some sort of relation. And finally a reference to the the console itself (not the controller).

The Wii U probably won't have full size retail downloadable games - it's confirmed that it'll use flash memory, not hard drives, and when the games use blu-ray equivalent discs, there's no way they could fit onto 4 GB or whatever of flash memory. I can imagine Nintendo trying to utilize digital distribution or streaming for indie games, but full fledged retail games? Highly unlikely unless we see some sort of hard drive add on (which may as well have been in the system anyway).

Yeah, I always thought it was stupid how they didn't really change the names of their products for this generation. The name "3DS" just sounds like yet another DS redesign -- and in fact, since the 3DS looks so much like the previous generation DS, it's not hard to see how people would be confused.

So I really do hope they change the Wii U's name. Maybe they could call it the DC, for "developer's console" just like DS stand's for "developer's system." Or maybe VS, for versus. I dunno.
