  • it doesnt sound like a Ferrari, it doesnt sound like a F1 car, it sounds exactly like a 90degree V6 that redlines at 8K. Sorry guys, but no amount of muffling can alter an engine's sound signature.

  • @chabbalato

Overall It sounds nice and doesn't need to sound like anything else.

  • @Aztech355 Yes, correct. All of the C engines are nice engines.

  • Sounds like a Ferrari! nice

  • reminds me of a ferrari V12.

  • sounds similar to a porsche.

  • I make the same sound when I drop a duece.

  • To all the posters, please note that the model of the exhaust is named "F1 sound muffler", which is made in Osaka, Japan. It is made of titanium to give it a low deep exhaust tone. Of course it will not sound exactly like a F1 car. They rev to extreme heights, and my car only redlines to 8k rpm

  • A buddy of mine had a car that sounded almost exactly like this.

Hmmmm what did he drive? OH! I remember!!!!

1993 camaro with a 3.4 v6 and a flowmaster. You guys like the hollow raspy sound?

  • that car are better than a camaro v6

  • yo jlic shut the hell up that car will eat you!!! GO HOP BACK IN YOUR 177HP V8 HAHAHAHA IROC Z and stop bashin.....your like that faggit from that stupid new fast and furious movie muscle beats import every time do some research highschool punk ..and f^ck 93 camaro

  • 0/10 nice try

  • it doesn't matter what it sounds like it matters how it runs and your camaro is garbage compared to the nsx ...yup you just got owned

  • youll never win hahahahahahahahahaha mr iroc z hahahahahahahaha i win iwin iwin iwin

  • Wanna race??

  • Ahhhhhh....

  • so when do i\I start to hear the RA108 or BAR F1's?

  • of course it can't sound JUST like an F1 motor. they rev to unthinkable heights. but still, at the end of the video, the NSX was developing the wail. great sound!

  • The nsx engine is derived from honda's f1 engine.

  • lol ok 2.8 liter v8's with a 24k redline limited to 19k compared to a 3.0 or 3.2 v6 with a 7800 or 8000k redline limited to those numbers....wow so similar....i mean really must be the same engine! lol

sorry dude i had to, but yes the technology was passed down to this engine and every other honda engine...it's called vtec

  • Rather than stating my comment as negative, read the fucking right up on wikipedia, just because it doesn't sound like an f1 engine or doesn't rev to the same heights, does NOT mean the technology is derived from f1

  • it wasnt a comment to you it was for supermoto freak...sry for the confusion

  • I love the sound, but that doesn't sound like F1 to me.

  • the reason it doesnt sound like an f1 engine, and this goes for almost all engines, is because that sound we associate with f1s is the sound of an engine at about 15,000 rpms, obviously this engine cant obtain this without blowing up. Higher the rpms the higher the pitch

  • i like how its at low rpms and all of a sudern foot to the floor brrrraaaaammmmm

  • awesome sound! Jus how a car suppose to sound. quiet when poking around, loud and angry when you drop da hammer!

  • where do you get the rims?

  • they don't make Advan Model 5's anymore you will have to find them used or be real lucky to find them brand new

  • When the nsx first came out it had 240hp.. deff not beating on ferrari's with that kind of power.

  • The first NSX had 270HP, and even though it was rated slightly less than the competing Ferrari(348)it was quicker thanks to a larger powerband, and a better power to weight ratio.

  • Lets not forget about the 512TR

  • The Ferrari 512TR was in an entirely different class, in which the NSX never competed. Apples to apples, the Ferrari competition was the 348 and the F355.

The 512TR was several orders of magnitude more expensive, as were the 348 and the F355 which both cost at least twice as much.

  • I'll take an F355 over an NSX any day of the week, the sound alone is reason enough for me.

  • The F355 is a great car, and there is no reason one should not choose it. However, in person the NSX also sounds great. It has an exhaust note similar to a 12 cylinder, since it is basically 1/2 of a 12.

  • Yea I know I have seen and heard an NSX in person, a bone stock 91. I'm not knocking the NSX it is a well engineered machine and also looks great too but it's just not my favorite car in the world.

  • That's fine, but then one must also consider that the F355 will not be everyone in the worlds favorite car either.

  • Haha I didn't say it had to be

  • Not directly no, but your original comment was something about the inferiority of the NSX due to its lower HP, even though it always was competitive with the 348/F355. You then brought up the 512TR. Ferrari is a great company, but not by any means the only competitive make out there. This IS an NSX video...

  • 2nd fav car. the nsx type s zero iz sik az fuk. iz it tha s zero?

  • no it is not

  • What #'s did you get?

  • i might re-dyno to give updated numbers

  • NSX is the Godfather of all sports car hands down. too bad they dont make this rare breed anymore.

  • Don't call it overpriced, you'll sound ignorant. It's a very luxurious car, a great handling car and a pretty fast car. It's also made of all aluminum, and like the guy below me said, if a car of that sort were European or American, it would be twice the price. Remember that at the time NSX's were first made, Ferrarris were much more expensive, less well-made, didn't handle and well and weren't as fast, so no; it's not overpriced.

  • NSX "may seem overpriced" ?? ..... man if this car 'was' european or american it would have been sold twice the price!!!! Japanese cars, and especially H O N D A cars are in proportion to quallity / price THE BEST you get on THIS PLANET !!

  • What did it dyno with that setup (WHP)?

  • Hard to hear vtec on vid but looks/sounds great!

  • i know NSX's are nice, but why are they so much money?

  • the chassis is all aluminum, the interior craftsmanship is top notch, the engine uses titanium connecting rods, and the car is assembled by hand by top level honda techs. by modern standards the car may seem overpriced, but you just have to drive one to understand.

  • Somethin about this black nsx. tight

  • ok thank you, i forgot to repost on here, i researched it a little bit right after i asked that question, and found the answer. thank you tho

  • do u wanna sell ur rims with rubber ? or where can i find those ?

  • thank you all for the great comments

the rims are Advan Model 5's and unfortunately they are discontinued. They are selling a new model called the T5 which is similar but has a different design.

  • what exactly are test pipes?

  • now thats the sound i`ve been waiting for...Thank you very f@#$ing much

  • DANK!
