Metroid was a good game. Most of the old games were. If you want a good, challenging FPS, play the Half-Life series. Portal is another good puzzle game.

It is so weird that everyone calls her the "Queen Metroid"... when we first got the game in 92; we were way too young to play it right.. so we called the 1 800 help line, and we received the official map of the whole game... the map called her MM aka "Mother Metroid." so I think her name is truly; "Mother Metroid!" please fight me on this... because I think all you Metroid fans, like me, are wrong!!

god damnit, someone more knowlagable on Metroid than me! those aren't supposed to exist. i believe that she is explicitly called a queen in Metreoid: Other M, but that game was clearly written by very casual fans who only know the series by watching speedruns of the games and maybe read a few chapters of the manga, so i refuse to take their word for it. still, i have called her "the queen" since the 90's, and i shall continue to call her such until given valid reason not to.

This is Mother Metroid, but the Form is called Qeen Metroid. Like Alpha, Betah and so far are only Metroid Forms, not Names of the Metroid itself.

Halo's a fun game. Metroid's a fun game. Sure, games today tend to be considerably easier than games of old, but there's considerably more content and longer play time. Old console games were limited in length and subsequently had to be relatively unforgiving to play through. All of the Halo series is incredibly easy - single and multiplayer, but it has a good story; most importantly, it's fun. If i want a relatively modern game that's difficult, I'll play Counter Strike.

most games these days take no skill or logic to beat. but demons souls for ps3 definitely gives you a challenge, which is why your average gamer would get pissed at the game and go play some more halo

Old games were crude predefined enemies, the skill was ones reaction times, memory and not much else. Modern games go way beyond that, planning, coperation and teamwork are the added elements as many modern games are multiplayer. Obviously you are playing the wrong games.

It was by accident that I found a way to beat the queen; all I did was shoot one missile in her mouth while standing at the corner. Once I saw her freeze for a bit, I shot missiles at her machine-gun style. And all I would lose would be about a tank and a half of energy. Once you try it, it will be a doozy to kill her the next time you face her.
