I am new to recording a guitar at home. I have a new mesa tube amp but it is loud! can i use this some way as to bypass my speaker. so the amp is silent but i still get the tone!????
@filipdinev1 To use as an improved microphone alternative, you would connect the amp output to the PDI09 input, and the thru to the amp's speaker, and balanced out to board, return, etc. Also, you may use the PDI09 as a line-level direct box, by plugging whatever line-level equipment (guitars, pedal board, etc) you are running to the input of the PDI09 and running balanced out to your board, return, or whatever.

Let's say that I'm using combo amp. Should I connect the ''Thru" with the input of the combo amp, and the guitar directly in the ''Input''?
