the moros want to make certain areas in the east of mindanao as part of bangsamoro. they argue that those area have muslim populations so they want those areas to be under bangsamoro too. but what if the christians would also do the same with those areas claimed by moros as bangsamoro. would you also willingly agree that since sulu had a christian population that those christians create a pocket christian state within sulu and separated from your bangsamoro?

This is from Philippines :) Its in Maguindanao language from Mindanao.. altho Sabahans and Filipinos are very nearly the same people who speak the same or similar languages: suluk/tausug, bajau/badjao, bisaya, samal etc. and have nearly the same culture, so it wouldn't surprise anyone if a Sabahan song was popular in Mindanao, Sulu or Tawi-Tawi or a Mindanaon or Sulu song became popular in Sabah..

well, technically it's the other way around. The first austronesians from the philippines came from aboriginal tribes in what is now taiwan. then moved south and spread throughout the philippines, malaysia, indonesia, etc.

"moro" is a spanish terminology for "moors". i do have no problem with moro self-determination but i don't think it is fair for moros to claim the whole island of mindanao as their land. the lumads had the right of ancestral domain on the land east of mindanao based on historical facts. they too have the right to a land of their own where they can practice the ancient religion of our ancestors.
