  • As utterly horrible as this show was, John Caparulo is a VERY funny guy! If anybody here has the chance to check out any of his stand up, do so! He's great!

  • Nothing about this is offensive. It's just really unoriginal and NOT funny.

  • this show was so BAD it got canceled after 3 episodes

  • @thecritic2007 Canceled after 2 episodes ;)))

  • how do they even get people to laugh in the audience?

  • the show that is so awful that its goddamn awful

  • I watched this show one time, and thought it was kind of funny

  • @1979gary1 Bullshit.

  • Why would I even need to say what everyone else is saying...? It...fucking...blows.

  • this show didn't even make it 3 weeks did it?

  • Wow. Just wow. I am dumbfounded.

  • Ha cancelled.

  • I heard about this on Spill. and just... wow... And stop with the dislikes, I almost thought it was a fake trailer lol

  • i heard it was canceled

  • this is real life, two times in the last few years I didn't get a job and the didn't get a promotion at the job I have now because I'm a MAN. I thought it was funny what I saw, It was canceled the day I first saw the clips. I think there are more offensive shows on TV that are still on the air. Glee and the males kissing and on and on!! enough said

  • @mgdenboer oh my god, the poor straight white cismale!!! women still make up less than 50% of the paid workforce and and on recent payrolls, 30% were filled by women and 70% were filled by men. also women still make 77 cents to the male dollar in most industries in the united states. so no, it's not real life. ugh, although glee isn't the best show out there, the "males kissing on and on" is false, they've kissed full on the lips TWICE. this show was racist, transphobic and sexist, stfu.

  • It's not offensive. But it's just not funny. At all.

  • this show would have been actually funny in the 90s, when the the times were good. reality tv is whats really offensive. they insult your intelligence and they also destroyed our culture. Wake up people.

  • omg. people need to lighten up. this is not offensive.....i cant believe ppl think that it is. it was really funny and it had potential. its not even about transgenders...its about real ppl that are out of work and would do anything to support their families in this economy. the gays and transgenders have become too sensitive and brought this "pc" thing to a whole new level.

  • @busybuzz83 oh my god, that whole "why does everything have to be pc???" argument is fucking stupid. oh no, people getting offended by your racist, homophobic, sexist, transphobic jokes!!! how unreasonable of them!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This show has been cancelled: Reason feminists inside job :D

  • And I like the fact that it was a show that both focus on rear people hurting in the economy and how some jobs actually discriminate against men. I get that crap a lot here.

  • I missed the second episode. I can't believe so many people hated it so much. Thought it was cool to have a show take place in Saint Louis. Well, that really creepy episode of 'Supernatural' with the Saint Louis County police were eaten took place in the Lou.

  • I would hope at least ONE person was blackballed from the entertainment industry for life for this idea.

  • why

  • LOL. how badly hammered were the execs who green lighted this MESS of a television show. And is this NOT the same idea of a show in the 80's!!!! times have changed and this is bad tv by any decade's standards.

  • What.....the....fucking.....fuck????

  • wow... just... wow

  • All I want to know is what moron greenlit the series in the first place?

He should be fired. Yes, I'm sure it's a he because no woman in her right mind would pitch such an absurd piece of shit to a network.

  • Wow just two episodes and it's canned? maybe just an over reaction i think it had potential, at least wait for like the first season, or two before dropping the axe.

  • Good Riddance, Horrible Show.

  • ABC Pulls 'Work It' From Schedule

Repeats of Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing" will air in its Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. slot for the foreseeable future. 'Cougar Town' start date still unscheduled.

  • Hahahahaha!!! It got cancelled. Fuck everyone involved with the making of this "show". I hope you never work in television again. Scratch that, I hope you just never work again at all.

  • my eyes it's burning!!!!!!

  • YES!

  • Kill it with fire!

  • Dont worry they just cancelled this show!!!

  • Ign called this the worst show in a long long time... had to see what they were talking about. I wish I could slap ABC for ever putting this on the air. Then I want to pat ABC on the back for cancelling it asap.

  • Congrats on getting cancelled after 2 episodes. Clearly quality stuff.

  • This show is dumb as fuck, the worst part is that it isn't funny.

Trust me, SOMEONE found this funny, not sure how, but someone probably found this funny somewhere.

  • This show is just streets behind other comedy shows.

  • did anybody find this the slightest bit funny?

  • @supasta3 i thought it was funny, ppl need to not take things so seiously.

  • cancelled!

  • i thought this show was funny

  • where can i find the dvd collection of this wonderful show?

  • @barksydephil In hell.

  • @SuperAnnoyingtroll there has to be a store that have this other than hell,i'm not going there to get it

  • I thought it was funny .. So sue me.

  • Thank God this abortion of a show was canceled!

  • hahahah don't worry folks ABC pulled Work it after 2 episodes lol thank god this show was a national nightmare lol and apparently cougartown is coming back at the end of the month lol

  • Wow unbelievably awful !! Worse than Mike and Molly and that's saying a lot .

  • I can't believe Cougar Town was benched for this.

  • Work It.. was pulled from the air effective immediately.. seriously it was.. people hated it that much...

  • it makes me sad this is on and community is on hiatus i know their on different networks but still

  • @awesomeman462 I agree but maybe you should watch a little less TV and learn to spell "they're".

  • @southrules fair enough

  • @awesomeman462 Lol, sorry, for some reason I'm a spelling asshole, I wish I wasn't

  • this show is hilarious but dont see it lasting very long

  • @runrockwater It didn't.

  • This is pretty funny XD

  • I would rather watch Bucky Larson or something starring Rob Schnider.

  • I am transgender, and I wan't to laugh at this, but this is socially implying all the wrong things. And sadly, not many have a large enough brain to realize that this is not how people like me live our lives.

  • @Dreamsofyuri shut up. no one gives a shit. they arent trying to be trannys.

  • @JSasRays Do they give two shits, you said a meaning one shit XD is it one shit or two shits dude?

  • @Dreamsofyuri they dont give any amount shits.

  • @JSasRays lol why are you talking so much about shit? XD

  • @JSasRays I am kidding around, the show is actually kind of funny.

  • Shrug it kinda reminds me of bosum(sp) buddies a 70s tv show with tom hanks and peter....bah i can never remember his last name. I havent seen the show but it dosent look as bad as some of the things ive seen out lately.

  • pretty much offensive to everyone but the real issue is that the show is not clever, witty or humorous.

  • Isn't this show kind of stealing White Chicks (movie) idea

  • 447 dislikes, and 87 more dislikes who felt like trolling instead.

  • This is funny due to the fact the gay community is on a up roar, when there's gay actors playing the roles as st8 men such as Barney from How I Meet Your Mother. Think st8 gay community before you bitch and whine!

  • @CGamer64 That's probably a vocal minority. Even so, this show looks far more offensive to women, insisting that they're "taking over the work force." A source I read claimed to have viewed a clip (now removed by ABC) that showed a group of real women in total awe to see another woman (one of the men in drag) fix a car.

  • @CrunchBogus That in return would offend cross dressers if a group of real women are stepping here heels down on this show. I find it rather outrageous that people who complain about things they see on TV. I remember a point on The Talk *first and last ep I watched* they were laughing and joking about how a wife chopped her husbands penis off. That was offensive and no woman went and complained about it, they see this and they stop there heels, The world doesn't make sense to me D:!

  • @CGamer64 I will admit, it's a very touchy subject. I'm not out to ruin anyone's fun, but you have to ask yourself, do we really need something like this? Despite the social implications, it just looks lazy and unfunny. Seriously though, consider what it does to our society subliminally. Stuff like portraying women as being universally weak and impractical and feeding it into every household in America will reinforce such ideas in real people. I've already seen too much of it firsthand.

  • @CrunchBogus I agree with you, this is negatively implying stereotypes. I am transgender, this is extremely offensive, and it is hard for me not to think about this crap as detrimental to how people will see me. I do not need more problems, I already have to explain myself like a broken record as it is.

  • @CGamer64 lol i'm from the transgender community and this looks funny, we have to laugh at ourselves before we laugh at others please dont lump all gays and transgender into one category that is like saying all white people like mayo

  • @CGamer64 were not even supposed to be a separate community. All we want is to just blend in with the straight community anyways. This is offensive especially because the Transgender community is a minority. many of us suffer enough as it is, we don't need these sterotypes floating around when we are working so hard already to explain ourselves to a more conservative society. I don't think any stereotype gay or straight is funny, White black, etc. It seems funny, but its harmful.

  • @Dreamsofyuri People have the right to say or do what ever they want, I am gay my self and I find this show hilarious! There's a thing called not viewing the program if people do not like it. People on multiple times complained about South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy and those shows are still around and will be for ages to come. I live in a community that has gays, st8s, bi's, transgenders and they are accepted. Its the life styles that there are a separate community(ies).

  • @CGamer64 I agree with you, sigh, things often get misinterpreted. But hey that also means I had the right to say what i did too. I get it.

  • @CGamer64 I guess I might as well laugh at it. As long as i am not treated according to "Entertainment Standards" like this show, I have no problem laughing along.

  • @Dreamsofyuri Same mate, If you ever do get treated to the standards there will always be more people who will treat you with respect then people who treat you to Entertainment Standards. :P So lets Laugh!

  • Garbage, men have to be men and proud of it. Feminism has ruined our gender roles, now we can see it's effects in the chaos that society suffers. Things like these should be forbidden, it's a total crap.

  • Comment removed

  • @morpheusxnyc lol, your hopes for it were too high

  • @Hassus LMAO.... Will ya look at that...

And to think I spotted it two extra episodes before the plug got pulled. But then I've always been too generous.. :-p

  • Comment removed

  • It has nothing to do with being gay it't just not a funny or an entertaining show

  • @DrMcNasty19

So it's that hockey game from the late 90s and this, right?

After watching this, I may actually have to switch over to "Whitney." O_o

  • I think it looks pretty funny. It might be a Lil like blossom buddies but its time for a new generation to enjoy the shows from the'80s.

  • So offensive on so many levels I don't even know where I would start.

  • Think the main problem here isn't the injustice of any sexism or homophobia but the fact that shows like community get shelved because there aren't enough viewers yet horse shite like this just keep getting churned out. Now that's worrying.

    TL;DR: This species is fucked

  • if you dont like this type of show..then move on, find something else..no use wasting ur time bashing something clearly you have no idea about..i think the series is funny and im a girl i dont think women should be offended..but if ur one of those people who is offended by everything then i suggest you skip this one..

  • This is a nock off of Boson Buddies. And um hollywood- times have changed over the years with the gay comunity. This show is a discrase!

  • They replaced Man Up with this shit?!?!!?!?! REALLY?!?! Who created this crap RuPaul!!?!?!?

  • Stop saying fag freak or evil. I swear all who say that have serious issues to deal with by discriminating against other its sooo immature

  • This is like a bad parody, but... I'd watch it.

  • drag and transexual have nothing to do with being homosexual. This is transphobia.

  • Ok, Amaury Nolasco. You left SouthLAnd... to star in THIS?? Ben Koldyke, Rebecca Mader, what did you possibly see in this wretched mess of a project?

    And short version: WHY???

  • As Seen On: Best Week Ever

Ok, either someone's trolling, or something is very wrong.

  • still better than icarly

  • A total insult to the trans community, bigoted, and an outright disgrace.

  • @joanne1953100 I disagree.

  • @DrMcNasty19 Ign gave god hand a 4 and imagine babies a 7.5

therefor, this must be the best tv show of all time

  • I hate this show more than I have hated anything before. I think this is how I turn evil. There is no good in the world if this show exists.

  • You have to take into account the average person's homophobia/ transphobia/ femmephobia when rating shows that make them feel sexually uncomfortable or might expose some of their hidden desires. I'm not saying it's a good show, I thought it was OK, but most people here are rating on the premise that anything that doesn't follow a strict "man code" is "gay" and are afraid of being accused of gayness if caught watching it. I think this show is geared toward the female population anyway.

  • @Zryuken Actually, I think the show sucks because its EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE to Trans* identifying people. It's also really sexist and rude.

  • @ImagineMarvelous I thought of that, but you know what? I'm a trans-identifying person and I just don't see it that way, and I think perhaps your sense of humor is more to blame than the show itself.

  • @Zryuken Well I am also a Trans* identified person and I see it as offensive( and believe me I find some sick stuff funny) I guess it just hits to close to home for me to be cool with it(however, I do know quite a lot of people who also feel this way)

  • @ImagineMarvelous Ok, well don't speak for all of us, k sweet cheeks?

  • @Zryuken Wow. How refreshingly condescending. I don't, and have never claimed to speak for the opinion of anyone but myself. But I do know that my opinion is one that is just as valid as yours. I also know that you have no authority to demean someone because they hold a different opinion. So would you kindly stop being a droning folly-fallen clotpole.

  • @ImagineMarvelous For someone so well-spoken you seem to have no problem parading around your personal opinion as a material fact. I only ask that you think a bit laterally when confronted by something that you deem "EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE to Trans* identifying people". You said this to me without even considering that I was one of these people for whom you choose to speak. If it is offensive to you, say so. I dare to assert you are not a megaphone for the community at large.

  • @Zryuken WTF does homophobia have to do with hating a tv show with awful dialog, and a laughable premise. I swear you people will shoehorn that bullshit in anywhere you can. That's what I dont get about gays, you say it shouldn't be a big deal....that your "sexual orientation" is private, and yet you flaunt it, obsess about it, and basically center your entire existence around who you have "sex" with. It's ridiculous. Who cares.

  • @freshtendrills Awful dialog and a laughable premise? You mean like every sitcom that has ever existed, or do you just have an unfavorable opinion in just this case?

For one thing, I'm not even gay, and for two, you are coming off homophobic or plain ignorant with that kind of generalization. You obviously have a bone to pick with gay people, and cross dressers remind you of gays even though many cross dressers are not gay. It's your preconceptions that need work, not the show.

  • I thought it would be bad, but actually it's pretty funny. Hope they will keep it that way for the next episodes...

  • i love it.

  • Sucre?!?! NOOO!!

  • Oh no.. the Prison Break star has been reduced to this..

  • Damn, I've never seen so much hate for a show, and so many dislikes for a trailer :P the shit must be fucked up

  • cure hipster faggotry: MANHOOD101. COM

  • And so we get the 1st scripted show of 2012... and the 1st major network firing.

  • Looking forward to seeing it, looks pretty funny!

  • @DrMcNasty19 Yup, my prayers go out to Matt Fowler, the IGN man who did it. I listened to the Channel Surfing podcast and he said he had it since at least November, but that he tweaked it every day. Me, I'd give it a -2/10. Forget that it has a laugh track. Even if it was a Single Camera sitcom (laugh track free), this show would still fall flat on its ass (Case-in-point: Man Up). Terrible premise, terrible jokes, bottom line, NOT FUNNY. Hope Paul Lee (ABC exec) gets fired for this.

  • Wow, unbelievably bad.

  • @DrMcNasty19 And that score is too high!

  • The show "feels" as if it's produced it St. Louis, then I realized it's "set" IN St. Louis. Regardless, as it is, it won't last.

  • Hmmm, this show looked funnier when it was BOSOM BUDDIES! FAIL!

  • @thunderstruck665 You are sooo right! Cancel this quick and show BB reruns!

  • I wonder of RuPaul actually sold them the rights to those two songs. I'd be surprised Ru would give them any form of support.

  • were the writers lobotomized? This is like someone tried to make a parody trailer of all the shitty tv shows ever made

  • Genius... If ABC is trying to lose money, and ratings.

  • this made me laugh this is funny not offensive if u want to play that game than i think trans gender are offensive to straight people

  • The writers, directors, and producers of this show took a wonderful situation for the times (men losing jobs to women), and they made a real classic out of it - CLASSIC TOXIC WASTE that is. I wonder who the suckers are, I mean sponsors, who put out the money to pay for this crap.

  • Wow. As I guy who dates an actual male to female transsexual this is insanely offensive. Makes it seem like transsexuals change there sex just for the heck of it and not because they generally feel like they were born in the wrong body.

  • @camera9055 your a fucking freak

  • @Talentedtongueoo7 I think you're more of a freak for judging someone on an [imo, true] opinion they wrote just because they find someone beautiful. :)

By the way, you should learn the difference between "you're" and "your".

  • @Talentedtongueoo7 you're an ignorant moron.

  • @Talentedtongueoo7

so r u by saying that

  • @camera9055 fag

  • @camera9055 you know there is more to transgendered people than just transsexuals. What about crossdressers who like to occasionally take on the role of a woman but still like to live their lives as guys?

  • @kazimierz198 I'm aware of this, however this is not what this show is meant to be about. To the unimformed average viewer though they will not be aware of this difference and it will reflect poorly on the transsexual community. Not to mention the fact that this show is simply horrible and makes Two and a Half Men look like Frasier comparatively.

  • @camera9055 What do you mean this is not what the show is meant to be about. It's two guys dressing up as women, hence they are crossdressing. It's not about two guys who feel like they are trapped in the wrong body. Anyway I'm not saying the show is any good; it looks stupid but really so many people are just looking for a reason to be offended.

  • ABC is getting rid of One Life to Live and putting THIS SHIT ON??? OMG

  • This crap looks really stupid....

  • One word: STUPID!

  • C'mon people. All through history comedy has been almost completely reliant on stereotypes. Don't get ticked if a comedy series uses stereotypes. That means it's normal.

  • @KaoruZButtercup When the comedy is reliant on nothing but stereotypes, and those stereotypes are really quite offensive (i.e. the dumbest man is still smarter than the smartest woman), and also it is incredibly not funny, then we reserve the right to get ticked off. This show is literally the worst I have ever seen.

  • Bosom buddies was the shit... This show looks terrible. Search the skinny or it's new title, girlhattan. That show looks hysterical.

  • simply horrible .. no future Tom Hanks here .. all Peter Scolaris

  • Here we go again, ladies and gentlemen. It's another year of horrible television.

  • Only 1 percent of all trans people can pass,, the rest just look this tv series. The brain preseves you as beautiful barbie dolls, but in reality all trans people look like these two. I am not to sure how the tv program will do,,, but i wont watch it.

  • Haven't they did this plot before with Tom Hanks?

  • @MrDavidswife09 Exactly. It was called Bosom Buddies that aired from 1980-1982

  • @MrDavidswife09 It was a movie with Dustin Hoffman. The name of the movie was Tootsie and it was perfect. Then there was another movie with Robin Williams, but I don´t recall the its name.

  • @claudiamodell Mrs Doubtfire?

  • The single most offensive show on television to transsexuals?

  • 2012 the end is coming!!! and this is a sign

  • Looks like prison life really took a toll on poor Sucre. :(
