@donatopirrod First of all learn to spell, and the amd6990m on this laptop is the mobility version which has far less powerful GPUs than the full size 6990, and secondly the desktop version of the 7970 is far more powerful than a 6990m.

Lets just say that the gtx 580 is the second fastest single gpu on the market (next to the 7970) and can run battlefield 3 on ultra at 50 frames per second at 1200p. Then you sli with another one... well lets just say very powerful. With the i7 well its a quad core with hyperthreading, and as more games take advantage of that in the future then it will become an even better processor. And games only use 4gb of ram so your set.
