@schnuper450 - I'm 5' 11" - 150lbs.... soaking wet. The bike was great for me. The seat wasn't comfy but stocks seats normally aren't. After I put on motocross bars and a few other modifications... the bike was a dream come true.
@Dinkymod - Great way to show how lame you really are... stick to posting boring videos on your page... it's really paying off I see..... 50 some views...!!! HA
@StuntFarmCAPONE - Thanks G! I wasn't a fan of the bike either at first, then after throwing exhaust and some motocross bars on it... It was game over. Josh at i3 hooked it up with a rear hand brake and a nasty cage... shit was dope. Thanks for the comment.
Must be a ex-rice rider turned to the dark side...If your going to ride a Buell don't give the rest of us a bad name. Wear some protective gear and save your skin "WHEN YOU GO DOWN"... Remember there are 3 types of rider those who went down, those who will go down again and those who lie and say they never wrecked.
@dobypaw Not everyone enjoys riding at the same comfort level, dude. You can be the guy that wears every piece of armor you can get your hands on including a neon yellow vest with reflectors and enjoy yourself or you can be a minimalist rider with no helmet. Ride the way you enjoy it and understand the risks you are taking. That's all it comes down to. You don't need to take jabs at someone because they don't enjoy riding all geared up. Buell or not, it happens with every style of bike.
To Huskybusa.... you need to ride the rear brake, feather it tho... don't jam on it... just ride it, and then you will soon see that you will use more throttle to bring you back more and you'll then be right in the balance point pocket. It's art after you master it and get away from the flipping over feeling! Good luck. Try it on someone else's bike first. LOL!
I'm curious how I must use my rear brake on the wheelies. Because I can hold m up for as long as my arms can take it but that's for about 1,5 mile. I'm covering the brake and try to use it when I set it down but am afraid to flip it. Got any tips?
@huskybusa - Thanks for the support - First off... don't be afraid to flip it... that's you setting yourself up to flip... each time I got on the bike I reminded myself that I had it all under control. My tip... learn on a four wheeler - Then take it to a Honda 50 - Once you master the perfect wheelie on both - Move to your bike. It's the same concept. Nice an smooth wheelies. You got this!! I'm sure of it!
how tall are you? im lookin to step up from my modified drz400sm, im 6'1.. just wondering if im too tall for this bike...
