I hope Erica is not dead...I hope for once in my life that my intuition is off and I am completely wrong. Erica Hahn was the deepest, most amazing character on Greys Anatomy. I will not be watching after this next show (I have to have closure on what was left undone last week...but then I'm done). Dr Erica Hahn/Brooke Smith was my glasses...without her Grey's is just blobs of fluff. How can ABC expect anyone to settle for green blobs, when they've seen the beauty of the leaves!!

I totally agree. Her monologue was beautiful, and I was so excited to see a lesbian couple that wasn't just thrown in to be crazy. It was serious and it was something new from television rather than the same old stuff that gets re-written time and time again. I won't stop watching Grey's if Hahn is gone but i will be deeply disappointed. Brooke Shields is a wonderful actress and its horrible that this would happen to her just as her career was going so well.

Clearer version...On IMDB under Brooke Smith is the episode "These Ties That Bind" however last week was supposed to be her last show...my intuition say's Erica is going to get into a car accident & will die in the OR this week...I believe her last speaking role was last weeks show...then they will transplant her heart into her patient who needs a heart...Sorry, I believe ABC has every intention of making this final. Time to stock up on tissue for my massive tears from my breaking heart!!!
