  • A similar song (sounds like Tzena Tzena).. is "I Will Sing Unto the Lord For He Has Triumphed Gloriously

The Horse and Rider Thrown into the Sea (2x's)

The Lord, My God, My Strength My Song

Has Now Become My Victory (2 x's)

The Lord is God and I will praise Him

My Fathers God and I will E-x-a-l-t Him

The Lord is God and I will praise Him

My Fathers God and I will Exalt Him!

  • @blessedbeJesus Someone told me about this in 1999, and I never did anything about it, though I intended to. Thanks for reminding me! I love the tune to Tzena Tzena Tzena! I was trying to make a video of it tonight, but my voice is not cooperating, so I'll probably do it in the next day or so.

  • and I WILL SING UNTO THE LORD...FOR GREAT IS HIS NAME AND WORTHY WORTHY WORTHY TO BE PRAISED....AMEN AND AMEN..FOREVERX OO ANDFOREVER....I LOVE YOU JESUS

  • Thank You for letting God use you like this. All Glory to God!

  • Good voice my God has given

Keep up the good work Jack

  • Hey I know Jennifer Jill :-) She's been an angel in my life!! Cool to see one of her songs.

  • God likes a hard string sturm too.

  • Thank you for your sharing of this video. As a fellow Christian and as a pastor I enjoy all songs which glorify our Lord and God.

  • To Onxyia8154 In the name of Jesus Christ my Lord I cast out the demons within you!

  • First of all, my young friend, I'm not trying to impress anyone with my guitar playing skills. Secondly, for one who claims to be a member of "our religion," you sure use a lot of profanity. Thirdly, I have yet to hear anything from the metal genre that glorifies anyone but self. Since I'm not into self-glorification, it's not likely I'll ever enter that arena.

  • well said

  • As a Christian musician (SDA... and friend of Jennifer's) who plays everything from Folk to Metal, I must disagree with your assessment. There are many Christian Metal bands doing all manner of selfless ministry for Christ and His Kingdom seeking to be faithful servants of God. I suspect pre-existing bias against Rock and Metal causes you to have this judgment. 20 years as an SDA, I've heard and seen a lot of misinformation and holier-than-thou prejudice against Rock and Metal. Time to wake up!

  • That being said, I agree with you about this guys' language, and how it certainly does NOT say much for his walk with Christ.

Some of my favorite Scripture Songs of Jennifer's - Revelation 15:3-4 from Grace to Grace. And I love "Where Was I?" from her powerful Chance of Rain album. She has given me permission to record a tribute album of her songs some time... "Great Clock of Time," "Gethsemane Angel," "Awake O Sword," "The Stranger"... Still need to record my own...

  • Fair enough, the jury is still out in my mind in terms of rock music as a legitimate Christian genre. I have had extensive discussions via e-mail with Jennifer about it, and I will admit that I have had stronger views about it than I do now, but the fact remains, I have yet to hear anything from the metal genre that glorifies anyone but self. But I remain open on a case by case basis.

  • Are you SDA ?

  • @guitmartiman WOW you are FAB! See you on that GREAT Day when they jESUS King of Kings and LORD OF LORDS!X

  • @velvetnotes009 Amen! I look forward to meeting many people in the Kingdom whom I've never met in this world, but whom my life has touched in one way or another. I see myself as a sower of seed, or perhaps a waterer, rather than a harvester of souls. God is merciful in that He allows me to minister to others in this modest way. I am not a great singer, but the songs I sing are powerful and true. May God bless you and keep you as you serve in His vineyard.

  • Begone Satan Begone!

  • where can I get a copy of "On Rock or Sand"...Jennifer and Mike used to study with my parents in NH in the early 80's....gifted songwriter...hit me back pls

  • You can get a copy from Jennifer herself at jenniferjill -dot-org. As far as I know she still doesn't have it on CD, and the tape quality is rather poor, but I think you can still get it from her on cassette.

  • Like the fast beat.

  • It is engaging and empowers you :)

  • Yes it is. Try singing on a hike sometime when you're feeling tired, it'll pep you right up!

  • Very nice x

  • New one to me-Thank you for sharing!

  • Can you send me the chords and words to this song??

    ET

  • I've added the lyrics to the video description. The chords are simply A D & E. Of course you have to play them in the right order, but if you play along with the video that shouldn't be hard to pick up. Oh, and throw in an E7 after "My father's God" in the refrain. Hope that helps.

  • Beautiful! I dig your 12 stringer, too! Way to go, bro!!!!

  • I no longer have the 12-string, but I dug it too.

  • Nice song

  • I miss that song from my youth.

  • I miss my youth from when I first started singing that song!

  • Cool Song.

  • I like it! If I were one of your guitar students I would only be able to handle 1 chord, and I would probably screw that up! lol Take care!

  • You might be surprised at how well you'd do.

  • Wonderful song sung by awonderful person!

  • Thanks for saying so. To God be the glory!

  • good job...thx for sharing!!

  • Great Job

    God Bless for Sharing

  • Thanks. Nice 12 string.

  • I no longer own it, but, yeah, it was a nice one.

  • Nice tune - something that I think would be popular among the little ones at Sunday School.

  • thanks for the vid.

    Take Care,

    Health & Happiness,

    Regards,
