@GodBlessAmerica121 Everything that is in your view in this game causes lag. So by shooting out the screen the game only has to process a black screen, instead of a colored, animated world map and thus runs smoother. This is a miniscule example though. Go to Bunker 2 with invincible and alert a ton of guards, and eventually the game runs at like 3 FPS. This is extreme lag. Then look straight down at the ground, and suddenly it's smooth again. Same principle...game only has the ground to process.

You're so good at this game, one of the best I've seen on youtube. I'll never be this good, took me forever to get past control because of the protecting Natyala part. How long did it take you to be this good at the game?

Thanks man. Well I played it for a couple years after it came out just beating it and getting all the cheats, then in 2000 I found the rankings site and got into speedrunning for a couple years, took a long break then got back into it from 2006 to present, although I play pretty sparingly nowadays from being a lot busier.
