  • Dude, I was so shocked when you tapped on the edge of the terrarium with the window open & that big ol' feisty N. naja right inside.

  • @DaboiaRusselli What? You never did that before ;-)

  • @viperkeeper Never did what before? (forgot to end a sentence? I'm sure I've done that before!)

[sorry it took me so long to reply btw]

  • @DaboiaRusselli Have no clue, now LOL

    Let it go..

  • "We all fear the brown submarine!"

  • hey keeper, what was that at 8:11? renardi? last summer I've seen for the first time in my life, a few Vipera ursinii rakosiensis at the Budapest zoo...there are like less than 500 left of them, most of them in Hungary...you probably know all about it but I'll just link it for you, you can switch to english at the bottom left its 3w . rakosivipera . hu. it's the site about the saving project

  • @MisuOfArabonaClan Thanks

  • if you threw mr. frog into that eastern brown's cage this would be the best snake vid on youtube...weather the eastern brown has a taste for frogs or not.

  • @elementf89 They eat anything that moves

  • There should be a series of episode specials dedicated to Mr. Brown!

  • @ADbowling2000 I might do that "The best of Mr. Brown."

  • @viperkeeper sweet!

  • viper keeper have you ever kept a ball python?

  • @111TYLER9999 Yes

  • Mr. Brown!!! Mr. Brown!!!

  • im a big fan of yours viperkeeper i love snakes

  • I bet you can't wait to tube that Eastern Brown...

I think I would call Eastern Brown cam Suicide cam,

just like I would Puff Adder cam.

  • where did you get your vision cages at? how do you incubate your eggs?

  • @mikal9411 LLL Reptiles, I have a special incubator that allows me to not use any substrate.

  • @viperkeeper

Al,I have not seen all your videos, so sorry if this is dumb, but I have not see you with any snakes from the US, are all your specimens exoctic? If so, why? Just personal preference or just the nature of your business? thanks.

  • @marketdemon Personal.....there are videos when they make guest appearances. look through the back catalog.

  • Hey Viperkeeper, have you ever been bitten by one of your snake and if so what snake and what did you do?

  • @mrantis I went to walt disney world...

  • @mrantis

Hey mrantis, have you ever bothered thinking about FAQ's?

  • LOL when Mr Brown just stuffs his face in the water bowl xD

  • @ckeffel1 They have insulation between each of them. I have 'heat panels' in exch of them.

  • ill wack u right in the hisser lol

  • he was definatly ready to kill the camera at 11:34 that was awesome how he juss came over the top of the bowel at it lol. another great vid al

  • im so scared right now

  • Man, it is eerie the way the Naja Naja locks his stare on you. You can see the wheels turning. "how am I going to bite this guy?" Pretty sure I would have needed a change of pants after that one.

  • Ha put on transcribe audio it's hillarias.

  • I dont know how you do it you are very composed when dealing with dangerous snakes

  • Great video as always hehe loved the frog interlude

  • what camera do you use?

  • @TheTurtlelover09 Sony HDR-XR500

  • Viper Keeper. Dude, I love your videos. I see an opportunity for improvement though if I may. Unless your doing this for the camera, which if you are...awsome!, I would suggest a portal of sorts to insert the meal into the cages so that you are not so vulnerable. Take the plexiglass and cut a hole, use a rubber cement and a plastic tube to make the portal and put in a 1-way door to insert the meal.

  • @overlord002 Thanks but I don't like to make thiings overly complex.

  • How in the hell does he clean those cages?

  • @inu099 Snake obviously comes out...

  • You have some of the most fantastic animals I have ever seen! Truly amazing. Hots are just about the most phenomenal animals out there, in looks and personality both. That said, I think I'll stick with my pythons and boas.

  • Great video you are crazy my friend, I keep Gaboon Vipers and havent ran into one that is crazy as your snakes thank god they tend to be layed back lol you are my hero!

  • Totally awesome video, Al! The N. haje have some very interesting personalities.

May I ask where Taz has been relocated (assuming she is still in your care)?

    Thank you, Sir! Take care.

  • @TrustyBucket I sent Taz up to Terry's (Reptile Gardens) on breeding loan.

  • I thought it was so cute when he put his whole head in the water bowl and started drinking ;D :)

  • Do you have any Northen Copperheads (Agkistrodon contortrix mokasen)?

  • @btbayne No, protected species in these parts.

  • Great Video Viperkeeper! That Eastern Brown is truly scary... Oh and just to for accuracy's sake, Foster's Lager is made in Canada. G'Day, Eh? Bon tryst Taz!

    Much enjoyed, sir.

  • 10:08

Snake: Are You Talking To Me(Snake Turns Around). Lol

  • Wow! You have to be Lucky 100% of the time. These perfect, creatures only have to be lucky .01% of the time and you go from "Viper keeper" to "Crypt keeper." Good luck!

  • Exo-terra snake cave XL is a great hiding cave for snakes mine loves it.

  • -"You would hang off my nose if I gave you the chance."

-"Hey! That sounds fun!" *dives for nose*.

    XD

Great video and beautiful snakes. Very informative. It's amazing to see someone with that kind of experience handling them.

  • Hell...Al, how'd you keep your cool when the cobra charged you at 11:35? I knew it was just a video and I still jumped back enough to tip my chair over!

  • Nice compilation again. Not envious of what you've got to feed and care for but they certainly are pretty and very fascinating snakes. I can see the interest. That frog was cute, too. I've certainly discovered a lot of other animals besides mammals that discard unfertilized ovium than first realized. I guess with snacks they call them "slugs?"

Spiders sometimes drop dud egg sacs, too.

  • When the Egyptian Cobra shot at the camera i almost peed myself!!!!!!!!

  • The eastern brown made me think of this. Does each snake have a different defense posture or warning or are all of them somewhat universal?

  • @darkpatriot85 some do, some don't, varies from species to species.

  • One of the best (and probably the most entertaining) of your videos

  • Al,

I hardly ever see someone else with you when you tend to your snakes. I am just wondering if you do have someone else there when you do all of the upkeep on the lair?. Also another question do you have your lair attached to your house or is it separate because I have mine in a den that is an addition to my house it is my "man cave" where I keep my snake and all of my creepy crawlies. If you dont want to answer in comments feel free to PM me.

    Thanks!

    Anthony.

  • @Sithisnight I have my best friend look in on them if I'm away, otherwise I take care of everything.

  • nice vid al, i seriously thought that snouted cobra got ya! i just had some questions, whats the largest snake in your collection? and have you ever owned a stiletto snake? thanks al, ooh and i was out biking the other day nd found a little dekays` snake in the road so i moved him off to the side i remember you saying that was your first snake, i just thought it was pretty cool

  • @tjswimmer825 Yes, I've kept Mole Vipers. King Cobra, Bushmaster & Black Mambas are my largest snakes

  • @Keithattal5 Taz is at Reptile Gardens on beeding loan.

  • Great video! Mr brown made me laugh! You made me laugh with mr brown's drinking problem!

  • haha i jumped back twice , but with a astonished smile on my face lol, because of how pretty these snakes are

  • I think Mr. Frog's an american bullfrog... idk. I wish I could keep one, they're invasive here though.

  • @jxz107 Possible but don't thinks so, no pond nearby.

  • Hisser had me backing up 11:30. Glad it wasn't in 3D I probaly would have pissed pants.

    THANKS Al

  • @pollenman99 hehehe

  • Whoawhoawhoawhoahwoawhoa Hello Mr. Snouty

  • You definitely had your hands full with this group Al! That Egyptian cobra is a mean b_ _ _ _ _ d !

  • Haha...great video Al

  • Great mixed bag Al. Very cool seeing you at the hamburg show today. You made my daughters day by shaking her hand. You're a class act and we're big fans of the show.

  • @neromelano LOL...no worries... I tell everybody to say hello, few do. Next time (with your permission) I'll let you guys shoot a picture of me with her....

  • Wow, the markings on the underbelly of the Eastern Brown is really pretty.

I used to have my ball python in one of those grey plastic, sliding door cages. But then he figured out how to get out and we got him a different one with a lock XD

Your animals are so amazing, how many do you currently have?

  • @sangheilisniper More than 100, less than 200

  • Do you sell to other breeder and research faciltys? Or do you sell to people with the proper proof that they now what they are doing and have dealt with hot snakes.

  • @btbayne All of the above

  • Eastern Brown Snake. Such an innocent-sounding name...

  • Can you send me that book list al

  • that cobra wants you dead

  • You really do have a good sense of when they are going to strike don't you. I couldn't believe you got down a put your head and hand close to that cobra after you changed it's cage.

  • @rydmerlin ditto that.

  • @ 11:36 WHT SPECIES IS THAT?? xD

  • @CEMSTR3RK Naja naja

  • Scary shit.

    =-)

  • So Al, what was the green snake I saw draped over the top of the Naja naja cage?

  • LOL@ Mr Browns drinking problem!!!

  • A feeding response like that is cool in non-venomous snakes. A cobra, is more scary than cool haha. That shit is crazy Al. xD Amazing eastern brown, fast little beast. Thought is was a coastal taipan at first. =/ Thanks for the video, I loved it!

  • Great video Al!! Love the crazy Naja and uncooperative Brown snakes. Keep it up!!

  • another cool video! thanks for takin the time to make these. i never saw my snakes drink like mr brown did. is that common for brown snakes or is that just his character?

  • Ever have a snake ingest a piece of substrate? Do you spot clean or just leave it and do a total cleaning every so often?

  • @joeprestara Snakes in the wild ingest substrate, why should I worry about it here?

  • Al do u think u could make a video on ur cotton mouths

  • @vader19907 Maybe

  • i dont think it would be a good idea to feed the frog to ur snakes cus of parasites

  • @vader19907 Which is worse? Dealing with paracites or the snakes starving to death?

  • Great video Al! & a nice shirt too!

  • hey al, in the video description you wrote "male snouted cobra" aka naja annulifera, but actually the video is featuring a naja naja, so I didnt quite get that? do you have a naja annulifera in your lair? obviously, it´s not a subspecies of the naja naja as people used to think some time ago... thx bud

  • I love how you talk to the snakes... very entertaining! Thx Al!

  • so many hissing snakes that time, wow. they shouldnt be so cranky, cause you treat them with so much love and passion. =) i rly like your videos cause of the beautiful snakes and the way you tread them. mister frog thinks you're awesome as well!!!!

    keep it up =)

  • yes i love the mixed bag videos, i have some hd footage of the vipers at 8:35 and on for a bit from the reptile expo, and the cobra made me jump a foot out of the chair at 7:19 great footage into the world of the usually unseen and goodluck at cheating death so to speak each time you enter a snake lair.

    Da52o

  • I swear to god, that hisser pisser cobra scaredme to hell, fast elapids!

  • Hi there, do u keep vipera ammodytes?

  • LOL I love the snouted cobra how he comes out of the cage like a train hahahaha

  • The frog sounds like a monty python skit..lol great video!

  • I look forward to watching the mixed bags every month. That Black Spitting Cobra is one of my favorites of your collection. I hope I can get through high school and become a herpetologist.

  • Awesome video as always Al, i have been wondering, how many different snake rooms do you have for your snakes, it looks like at least 2 by the flooring

  • Holy crap that cobra was lightning fast.

  • HE WENT BACK IN LIKE A GOOD BOY

  • Aww helium, now that song is stuck in my head.

...We all fear the brown submarine...the brown submarine...

  • Also, would you ever consider training someone in keeping venomous reptiles such as yours? Or have you ever trained someone before?

  • 1:17 was a little close...

  • My goodness. You make me sooo nervous watching your videos!

  • Do you milk any of your snakes? Or do you just breed them?

    Awesome video though.

  • @repticman123 Just breed

  • the little guy that went after your nose, viper rinerdi [sp?] you said they are hardly kept, why are they not widely kept? just curious. love your site, love to watch all your close calls!!

you are my favorite reptile site!

  • Great video All, but as a general rule us Aussies don't drink Forsters. for some reason it has been sold to the world as our favorite beer of choice when actually the most commonly drank beer in Australia would be Victoria Bitter (VB). however I think VB tasters like cat excrement and so I drink Tooheys New.

  • @SaveTheSnakes Thanks for the update mate...

  • @viperkeeper is this ur job dealing with venimous snakes ? if so how would somone be able 2 get a job in this ?

  • @SaveTheSnakes what do you think about "Archa"? We have it here in Thailand. I had it the first time and loved it. Then I just had a bottle the other night - and not so great. Aussies like it, or no?

  • @thaipulsedotcom I have never tried it... I don't know if it is even sold here in Australia. I have never seen it advertised so I couldn't say. :)

  • You got yourself into many strikes!! Be careful pal ;)

  • Great video again. Really appreciate the time you put into them, especially will all the dillhole keyboard warriors making uneducated comments under the guise of their PC.

  • @TalkHeavy TY

  • LOL....Mr.Brown has a drinking problem.....you are too funny!!

  • Haha I love the cobra. Such a pissy little (well, BIG) thing! And I was chuckling when Mr. Brown stuck his whole head into the water--silly boy!

  • @MrStevedominguez A fan did the very professional voice over and I fit the video around it.

  • @viperkeeper why do you not feed live? is it because if they were feed live they whould be more agresive at you?

  • @vautaw12345 No, I don't want to show live feeding, they all eat FT very well.

  • is that mr brown in the beginning??? but cool vidoes man

  • new reality series starting you Al, "Dancing with Cobras!"

  • @ladybloodrose LOL!!

  • Oh wow, what a rowdy bunch in this episode. Thank you for the entertaining video!

  • Wow that looked way too close for comfort with your Egyptian!

  • @bigfatgaz That second one was very close

  • Amazing how the snake managed to launch through at speed between that small gap, its hardly a small snake. I would have had to of changed my underwear after an encounter like that!

  • it reminds me of my friends snake colection but there not posionus hurray first one to comment

  • @jeremytheruler As Viperkeeper will tell you; there is no such thing as a poisonous snake. Snakes have venom.

  • some real nasty snakes :P

    frog (^_^) lol

    the cobra's are gorgeous :D

  • I loved that, the annulifera he was able to see the area of glass that had been opened even though his focus was on your hand. Careful of the sight hunters lol.
