using a tube as a topwater bait? i cant say i have ever seen that before. it would have so little action on top, it would just glide on the water not kick through it.

but it seems to have worked well for you. nice fish. i like to use really small buzzbaits because they catch large bass and never scare them. i only use large buzzbaits for musky or white water.

Nice fish, but I mean anyone who is in awe with the lure shouldn't be. Almost any topwater lure would've done the same thing and caught that fish, that's why the hit was like 3 seconds after it hit the water. It was just a good spot to cast.

I hate it when people just catch a big fish and take it home (no offense to fishermen since thats what they live on) because it takes dozens of lucky years for a small fish to grow huge, and it really changes the enviroment. Im not hippie though. But good job on the catch and release!

That 8.25 lb largemouth hit a 4" WINGMAN as I was buzzing it topwater style along the bank. The water was very stained and he still followed the vibration.  Lucky to have the camera with us that morning..almost fell out of the boat setting the hook.
