  • who is the forfy guy?

  • I am so seeing them next Monday! ;D This song rocks muh socks off.

  • I love this song so much!! It just makes me smile knowing that God is happy when He heals all the broken people!

  • to frankieBAMF: you are very rude for saying what you said. He is part of my family..all I can say is may God have mercy on you!

  • Awesome song

  • I love this song

  • wow amazing song....

  • can someone please give me the chords to this song (guitar).........thanks a lot...

    Gos bless you

  • what happened to the guy right of leeland? :(

  • there was a bunch of drama and they ended up kicking him out, (mostly cause he was a duesche) but he started a new band. light parade. they have a myspace these days. hes pretty much an ass though. i cant stand him lol

  • but what happened? I was wondering about that too.

  • I love this song (and "Hey")! It actually surprises me that I like this because I'm more into Christian Rap, Rock and Pop. But, hey, it's very upbeat and who can resist Leeland! This band rocks!!!

  • I was trying to say Christian Rap, Christian Rock, and Christian Pop. I just didnt feel like typing it all out. And not all Rock is from Satan. If that were true there would be no 'Christian Rock', but there is, so...

  • there is no christian rock its religous rock so call i that and rock originated from satanists. I used to listen to rock but then god opened my eyes

  • I dont think that any given music type is "from satan". There is more Christian artists writing Christian Rock than I can count. Christian Rock can also be used to evangelize to people who otherwise wouldnt hear the gosple. Your not gonna catch a biker dude with tatoos listening to hymns but if someone like that enjoys hard rock or metal and there is a christian band with that style of music, it might be able to reach that person.

  • why do you listen to it does it praise God in your point of veiw? if you say yes then ask yourself does it make God happy that people with tatoos and peircing are murmuring words,

most bands like skillet, flyleaf and pillar can be listened by satanists and they could still enjoy it. And does it make God look Good when people that where eyeliner and look like the world and act like it sopposedly call them selves christian? the Bible says be different then the world. God bless From

    Philip.

  • I had a bit more to say.

-I agree with you on you could catch "A biker dude"

-but with skillet, flyleaf and pillar they never use the words God, Jesus, praise,

they just never use those words in their songs only in interveiws.bands like leeland are good praise music not savage words being murmured that no one can understand the words. How can they reach other people like "A biker dude"

    If they

-dont use any words like Jesus,God, etc.

    - And they sound like any other unchristian music.

  • Look, I'm sorry if I upset you. As your sister in Christ, I think we should just drop this argument. I beleive every word in the Bible. When you find Biblical scriptures that say there is no such thing as Christina Rock, then I will start to listen to you, but obviously you will not budge on your beleifs and neither will I. I'm trying to understand where you are coming from, but I still beleive there are numerous ways to praise God. This conversation is over. God bless you and have a great day!!

  • Good Call

  • I just wanted to point out that skillet does use God and Savior etc in their songs, just not all of them. Some albums are Worship songs and others are just songs that relate to people's problem/experiences you know?

BTW I thought I had to share my opinion on rap. I'm sorry but music is just like candy, you gota get rid of all the rappers before you can enjoy it...

  • dang! owned!

  • great pun.

skillet's pretty cool. with their music being worship, they're like paramore...they are but not all of the songs aer about God.

and there are some awesome rappers out there that have a lot of creativity and musicality and they're entertaining. so don't bash all of them. but some are horrible. :P

  • Have you ever listened to Christian Rap? I think all music has a place in this world we live in, and if we can reach those for Christ by using Rap, then why not? Who are we to say G-d can't use anything and everything? There are people lost out there, and sometimes Leeland just isn't going to reach them, thats the reality. We have to give glory to our Saviour for using everyone and any medium when it comes to music to touch peoples lives with love. I'm sorry but I feel strong about this.

  • And another thing, if you know the history of Rap music, you wouldn't make a comment like this. Rap/Hip-hop was born out of oppression, a very real oppression that blacks went through in the United States. The first "rap" songs were in the '70's and dealt with subjects like poverty, ostracization from society and racism. It did not start out like what we now have today. Rap was a musical way of telling a story. Storytelling is a rich tradition from West Africa, so those traits lingered.

  • :) I love this thank you for following the Truth. If it doesn't say in the bible what is wrong or right and if music is still worshiping the Lord then amen to this :).. LOVE

  • I agree, how can you reach an unbeliever if they cant tell wether its christian or not?

  • Most Christian rock bands like Switchfoot, Disciple, Day of fire etc. still have songs about life which are all from a Christian perspective. Thats a whole lot different than secular rock which is always focused on money, suicide and girls. If they listen to the words they will tell a difference and if they take it one step further and look up the band to see what the band is about, that person is sure to find plenty of info on the Christian faith.

  • there wordly rock comes from worldly people who hate God. jesus said dont mix good things with the world. reply

  • you're just too legalistic cleansedchristian..

  • Amen, "seek and you shall find" that is a promise. But the important thing is that we have to seek. Faith cannot just come to us. Faith is active, not passive. Even in this beautiful song by Leeland, they say "Lift your eyes." That implies movement!

  • but yur not a biker dude.

  • For an example take a look at almost any Demon Hunter ( a Christian Metal band)

song and look at the comments. Theres almost always a huge debate about Christianity.

  • they probably look like satanists.

metal? c'mon you honestly think its for God its for themselves and ther glory from men.

    reply.

  • God loves variety. Look at people in general. There's such a variety. And God loves any type of praise towards Him.

    1 John 3:18

We are not called to show hatred, but to show love through our actions, and I'm sorry, but for being so judgemental, you're not showing God's love at all right now.

  • I believe everything was from and of Gods hand, even rock music. Some people just don't understand how to use it. But God has given me a gift, and planted rock music in my brain, so I'm gonna use it for the purpose of God. You don't nesseceraly have to use words like praise or Jesus, depends on what God has called you yo do or be. Maybe it is simply to a witnes or be Gods voice among musicians or people in the music mannagement business.

  • Its good praise music (:

  • luv this song!!! :) :D
