Mate I wouldn't buy a Norco. the geometry on them is rubbish and they aint that reliable. if theyr about 3k you should think aboutsomething better and rider proven like a iron horse or 224.

Hey, i'm just getting into stuff like this, but i've already suffured like 22 stitches on one arm in one go. Where did you get your body armor and helmet and how much did it cost? How does sizing work with armor? Plus, I do a lot of filming to, how long did it take you to compile the footage for this vid?

you could. but it would be horrible. the geomerty of your bike would be all messed up. and it would probably snap unless its a downhill specific hardtail. so if you have like a norco bigfoot or a kona stuff its going to snap so fast. full-suspension tend to be longer lasting and more easier to ride.

get a hardtail frame - thats gunna be the cheapest way towards downhilling mate - btw bikes arent cheap so i advise you to try to get a frame first and build it up as you come across parts

good luck! you would want to get either a giant, ironhorse or commencal if you can. i've got a giant se rincon hardtail and it's great on DH tracks and jumps.

As long as your rear wheel is turning it's called drifting. If you use your brake to stop the rear wheel them slide THEN it's skidding.

using v-brake for downhill? Sure why not. However if it is a wet weather, v-brake wont work as well as disc...

Great video. What's terrible about all downhill videos is to people who don't downhill (or ride a bike of the road for that matter) really don't realise how fast this is. You've got to have done somthing similer before just to understand how scary it can be!

nah, don't use them. you'd be hard pressed to find someone comfortable using mechanical disc brakes, let alone v brakes.
