@Chicomanco.. because when the boss are below 90% careful aim ( 80 % crit with aimed) It's only a waste of focus dump and arcane shot spamm will increase your damage. You should not hardcast aimed under 90%

Hey Kripp, I see that you're using Arcane Shot below 90% constantly rather than hard casting Aimed Shot. I myself hard cast Aimed Shot at all times. Do you recommend using your rotation for more DPS? (Using Arcane Shot and only Aimed Shot on the 5 stack proc)

Any advice would be appreciated :)

@cubcub10 I used to do what you do before 4.2, but since then I've changed my Aimed Shot glyph to Arcane shot and I've noticed a dps increase. It has a lot higher margin for error, as you can move around much more freely.

But as you can see in this fight, he's standing still for quite a while and still using Arcane Shot rather than Aimed Shot. CA phase:

Pure Aimed shot nuke, SS to regain focus

Normal phase: Chimera shot when off CD , Pair SS , Arcane shot and pops aimed on proc and all over again.

Kill shot phase: Same thing as normal just used KS when it's off CD.

I was just wondering whats the differance or the benefits of it. I mean I use the hard casting AS and Im pulling pretty good dps usually top but If there is something i can do for more dps i will take it.

@LatitudineD600 To not lose dps by casting arcane shot it really depends on how familiar you are with your hunter, it also is pretty situational as far as the fight goes, If your in a situation where steady shot is going to be interupted a bit by some incoming damage then it might be a good idea to cast an arcane shot for two reasons, 1, the incoming damage may make it take too long to build up 5 stacks of MM and 2, so you don't miss the cooldown of your chimera shot. It takes getting used to
