Not many other professions can say they've had little kids walk up to them and thank them for fighting the bad guys. Cheesebiskit, only a small percentage of soldiers are even in combat arms. And honestly, I don't give a fuck about killing people. It's not about being justified or not, it's just our job. Honestly, I do it as disspassionately as you do your 9-5 in the civilian world. I've noticed most of the 11B's (Infantryman) are different from civilians and non combat arms jobs in the military, but we're suited towards this lifestyle. You need to be hard on the bad guys, otherwise they'll walk over you

i love this song, it has deep lyrics, i like the way it's so open about how the goverment lies about the beauty of being in the army, the pride, patriotism, 'hero', and says openly how some 'heroes' are not at all heroes, the way they wrote it in 1st person makes it even, to the point that people go to war thinking its just a trip around the world and kill a few 'evil' people when they are actualy in the same situation on the other side. awsome isn't the right word but i dont know what would be.

Im from sweden though so sry for all misspelling. BUT, I find war needed for all countries,for ex. If sweden went to war you can be damn sure that I would be in frontline I would give everything I have to protect family and friends back home. thats what war is about, protecting and balance.
