well, just like everyone else im going to post a comment asking if this is enough to get accepted... arent i special :)

I'm a sophomore, average grade is a borderline b plus a minus, all honors classes, class president, I'm in the DECA program, im volunteering at a hospital over the summer, and im starting a chess club at my school if that means anything? if anyone who knows or has been to the U, can you tell me if this is good enough (ik SAT scores are important too, i havent taken yet)

@cargecko007 As I advised @DodginRainDropss, your presenting yourself through essay and working closely with admissions will help you prepare and better your chances in getting in. There truly is not a formula to follow. I asked the same questions you did while in community college, but it became stressful, so I just did me and worked with key people and now I'm a 'Cane! Good luck, and enjoy your h.s. years left and work hard.

@DodginRaindropss im a sophomore in high school, and i called university of miami a couple weeks ago and asked what GPA they want to be competitive. they said they only check your weighted GPA to be a B+ or A-. but idk anything about community college credits and all that. thats the best i can tell you

@DodginRaindropss I went the community college route as well, which helped my over come a tough h.s. career. I was accepted, but I can honestly say that my overall presentation of myself with the help of my advisors, instructors, and working closely with addmissions got me in The "U".

Oh, I almost forgot the most important attribute i had on my record - PHI THETA KAPPA. If you are not amember yet, become one and if possible be active. I am not saying that was my "pass" in, but i am saying that it truly helped me discover my strengths and weakness which i took upon myself to strengthen through academics and challenging myself. Point i made clear in my essays.
