This was Brian Jones' favourite Rolling Stones record, according to Paul Jones (Manfed Mann and the Bluesband) who knew him well. Great sound, pure blues with an effortless feel.
Keith is playing in Standard tuning. The chords are G, C, D if i'm not mistaken. Brian Jones is playing lead slide guitar in Open G Tuning. Keith would start playing his five-string open G Tuning Telecaster in 1969 after studying alternate tunings with Ry Cooder.
The only blues recording to top the charts in the UK and rightly so. What a fantastic performance. Just beats Gimme Shelter as my favourite Stones track. Classic in every sense of the word.
@9871MINI download "Audacity" (its free recording software)... set it for "stereo record" and it will record anything that is playing through your speakers... Open audacity in one window, this song in another.. press record on aud. and quickly press play on youtube.... press stop on aud. when its done.. and go to "export" in the options... it will save it on your computer as an mp3 or whatever else you tell it to... then you can burn it!! this is how I burn all my cds.. works great.
@calholli Thanks calholli, will defo give this a go, got a few weeks to get sorted, but I'm sure this will be just great, thanks very much, oh yeah and will try the rest too, will let you know how I get on x

Big Mama's version was much more tame - Mick made it very sexy and sly.
