Predators, other grazers, trees, ect., so for them, it's charge now, ask questions later. The reason is because of their poor eyesight, which can be a huge problem to anything that lives with a rhinoceros.

The hay was probably placed there just to attract the rhino and warthogs so they could get a good view. There's not much but food that can get a rhinoceros to sit still, you know.
