I'd like also to say that not all the african muslims who do this. My country(Egypt) is the only muslim arabian country which still has this habit and ofcourse not all of the Egyptians who do this but we are going to put the matter right.

You can see any female circumcision map.The woman in Islam has also the right to recieve a wage for serving her husband in addition she has also the right to recieve a wage for breastfeeding her babies and ofcourse it's optional.

Concerning circumcision and suppression, circumcision has no roots in islam. it's an african rite which reached to the african muslims. Women in Islam have the right to chose whom to marry, otherwise they have the right to accept or refuse the man.
