Mt. St. Helens was pretty tame compared to other eruptions worldwide, such as Vesuvius, Krakatoa, Etna, and sometime in the future, Yellowstone. Here's hoping Yellowstone stays quiet

Even these pictures don't do it justice. It was one of the most beautiful places on earth, especially when reflected into Spirit Lake.
