The movie GIA portrays Sandy Linter as someone who actually cared for Gia. But the way she talks about Gia makes it seem as if Gia did nothing but get on her nerves. Either that or she is lying. Normally when someone says that they "fell in love" with someone else they are saying that they care, but Linter has this "I really didn't care as much as you think I do"...

How pathetic and sad. I guess back then people didnt care when someone was in trouble or even care enough to care enough.

Its such a vicious cycle with drugs because you waste so much time and are not accomplishing anything while you use so when you get clean you begin to concentrate on what you really should be doing, but by then you are so far behind you feel discouraged and just want to go back to using as a comfort. it always seems like the people around actors/models only care that they look good. for example, Gia was apparently late all the time and left early. its really sad that job duties and health come behind appearance. i fail to believe the guy with the glasses said anything to her about drug abuse. he did not seem truthful at all.....and that is so sad
