Well i have to say this figs growing on me. FE is still better, but doesnt look like we'll have much of a choice :/ maybe ill try n hnt down the micron things as well so he can have blasters

I disagree with this figure being better than first edition cliff. FE cliff actually used the car bits to become his chest and stomach area. I just feel it was just the right kind of transformation to make it fun. This RID just feels like they were being lazy and making it too overly simplistic IMO

Cool review, I'd disagree that he's better than the first edition version however. While this one looks more screen accurate, I find that the First Edition is a better toy, with less hollow bits etc. Plus, no fake chest! Check my review to see comparisons.

Wait a second, he DOES have thigh rotation, doesn't he? You can clearly see this grey bit right where his hips connect to the legs. Might sound nitpicky but it's important to me since I'm a big fan of good articulation. A mass release version is also cheaper than the FE ones...

Cliffjumper's small size is actually a tribute to his days as a G1 mini-bot, as well as the red color, the horns & having the top of the car upside down on his chest.
