great memories... this song like many from the 70's reminds me of my mom. whenever she was in the kitchen the radio was on and she was singing and dancing. whoever was within arms reach would be dancing too, whether you wanted to or not :)

Jennifer Warnes is very often overlooked. Joe Cocker is awesome, yes, but her sweet country-music style voice is absolutely pristine. There is a reason why she is Joe cocker's duet partner. She keeps the song grounded and provides the sweet , very musical vocal timbre - while leaving all the spotlight to the bloke (who indeed is brilliant!). Anyway. I can't help it, I admire this woman so much. A true pro.

This is pretty good, I like the studio version better personally; but definitely nothing of complaint and good overall. Somehow a lot of music I've listened to throughout my life had been altered when being performed live; thank goodness not the case here.
