It does this by taking two pictures at different times. The computer compares the two pictures and if the same light remains it gets blacked out. Maybe if you did a little research you wouldn't be as simple minded as the poster.

Not only that, given that the planet itself has a diameter of almost 4900km, that "ship" you see would be so huge that it's own gravitational signature would pull the planet off course or at least affect the planet much like the moon does. Put the weed away man!

Dude....it's gravitational wake from Mercury. Just like a river eddy where water hits a rock and swirls around behind it. If you look at this video in HD and enlarged, you clearly see the black circle (which is the planet) is creating a wake behind itself. The leading edge of the planet is reflecting the sun and making it hard to see the actual planet.
