@Nelson4207 Hi Nelson4207. Houseboats can start as low as around $125,000 for very small houseboats on rented moorage, and the price generally goes up to a maximum of $400,000 depending on owned moorage, amenities, size, location, view, etc. Beyond houseboats, floating homes are another option (still floating like a houseboat, but they look and act more like a regular house than a houseboat), and they generally range from $450,000 up to well above $1,000,000.
@rustaayy Hi Rustaayy. With many houseboats you can get cable/Internet, though it depends on the marina. Water is almost always provided, via dock hoses.
That thing is HUGE! Is it a mobile houseboat? Or one of the many up there that are siply floating houses (still cool, but not as cool). If so where is the helm? What engines, HP, and range?
Yes, this houseboat is very large for houseboat designs. With two full levels plus the third level deck, lots of room all around.
This is a movable houseboat, though like most houseboats it mostly stays at its slip for living aboard. It has two connected engines, steerable from the forward second level. You can see the steering wheel and console to the left of the chairs starting at the 0:35 seconds mark of the video. Lots more info and pictures on it at WaterHavens dot com.
What are the price ranges on the house boats?
Do you have to rent a spot at a harbor?
Thinking of moving and looking for prices and places.
