  • We were looking for resuming the sound of the Harley Thank you

  • That looks really good and sounds great too.

  • those handle bars were "custom" bent some time in the bikes past. They are stock bars modified. They were with the bike when I found it ,so I kept them. They are actually pretty comfortable.

  • I've seen many different vl's and I've never seen these handlebars on one before.

  • what model is this vl? i am loving the handlebar setup on it.

  • @tylerbrunswick THE BARS ARE CALLED BUCK HORNS AND R STOCK

  • Fantastic bike looks great

  • Very Cool !

3rd generation HD owner here .

Suicide clutch , my dad rode those, yikes.

  • they dont make 'em like this today..

  • @jinchengfredde Thank God they don't make 'em like that anymore... I prefer bikes with power, brakes, good handling, and the controls belong on the handlebar so you can keep your hands where they belong! Great piece of history, though.

  • what a great old bike in nice condition. glad to see ya out on it

  • that bike is a classic- just like the Indian's

  • bike looked so much cooler back then

  • Still sounds like a harley after all these years. Awesome bike man

  • that is freakin cool , ide give you my soul to have that bike

  • Yup, kick er over, ignition off, choke on (or fuel enricher if you got a S&S), "wicking it" as my friend Tonto calls it. Get the particular bike figured out sequence wise (how many wicks, etc) most old Hogs are an easy start.

  • Ur one lucky as hell dude to own that beautiful piece of history.

  • Awsome, just awsome. What a beautiful machine, and the fact that it gets ridden makes it that much better.

  • Man, that's beautiful.

  • The first VL I ever saw "1985" 34 Vl with 31 cases. flawless swap meet special 95 points nice. This guy never cranked this bike up ever. He had a school bus custom with an electric wench to put the bike in the rear of the bus. He won first place in Myrtle beach Ralley 1985. I hate most restorations! This one gets a THUMB up ! And you ride it too!!! Far out. Black and Classy!!Fuck Easyriders ,this bike should be in the "Horse" biker mag!

  • You got that right! Its not a "real" bike unless it's RIDDEN! Other then the ignition it starts abt the same as my '71 Shovel, Just gotta' love the old flat heads!!!

  • That is beautiful. Wow.

  • nice to see on the road

  • Super!!!

  • What a beauty!

  • Same identical noise as today's HD!

  • nice bike & video

  • Nice Bike!

  • I'd give my left arm to be able to see and ride one of those dad-gum things! Being blind sucks!

  • the motorbike is life

  • thanks for the primer!
