Double Rainbow Rainbow Gathering New Mexico July 4th 2009

that was such an intense rainbow!!!we saw it form a kitchen near Granola Funk..hadn't been to a gathering for 7 years prior..it was a severely groovy "WELCOME HOME".

There is something magical about a Rainbow Gathering. This was my third Rainbow Gathering I have been to. My first in1998, the Arizona Rainbow Gathering, it also had a rainbow right over the main meadow also on the 4th of July, almost the same as this one. There was not a rainbow at 2008 Gathering my second Gathering, but I also got footage this rainbow. It is on my Youtube channel. TheRainbowGathering

This reminds me of some old movie where a pagen culture in the stone ages or pre-middle-ages is freaking out upon experiencing their first solar eclipse - like the pagen gods are pissed at them and are going to smite them down. Rainbow People, only in wierd-o America.

not at all bro. People were feeling awe and love in that moment, not shock or fear. It was a reaffirmation from the universe that our efforts and intentions were being heard and the rainbow was a clear reflection back to us of our own beauty and wholeness as one family.
