@cracisbd The monsters you kill in the tunnel do not effect your chances of getting a barrows item, it only effects the number of runes you get. So, as a general, but not exact, rule of thumb, the more monsters you kill (as long as it is less than around 18), the more runes and racks you will get from the chest.

@SPNKr3 It is for after you loot the chest and tele to your house and recharge prayer. You use it as a somewhat easy way back to Canifis if you don't yet have Kharyrl teleport.

@NobleCarmel No, it gives more of a chance of getting more runes and racks from the chest, which help pay for the trip itself. The only thing that determines the rate of a brother item is whether or not you kill all of the brothers.

@ibeatuable I never said it was imporrible to get a Barrows item with a low kc, a higher one just helps you get better other loot from the chest, and killing all the brothers gives you the best chance of a Barrows item.

You could but you would not get the added effect of full Verac's (which is hitting through armour and prayer on NPC's and players) and therefore would have a harder time getting through it.

That's the thing with methods like that. If you do something that inefficient you are barely profiting, but with the most efficient methods you can make up to 150k per hour with no item. That's not that good but it's still okay for having fun and Barrowing.

No because in order to be ale to hit the brothers at such a low level, you need Verac's. Just use the guide and you should be able to do it.
