Every single bird video on here has people claiming either "Oh nose, you're mistreating that poor bird. You should die!" or "Don't do that, it'll kill them." While it's nice that these people have good intentions, they're very naive and ill informed. The only actual "deadly" foods for a bird are dry rice, honey and avocado. Chocolate isn't "good" for them, just like it isn't for a small child. Keep their size in mind when giving them little treats, and for god's sake, don't only feed them seed!
@auntphibian Only if it got lodged in their throat or lower mandible, or it was dipped in arsenic. Have you ever heard of a parrot dying from having fun while tossing coins around?
@gankama no but this happened once (coin playing) only because grandma and grandpa was playing cards and he is so thrilled to join the game...but we never allow him playing it by himself,yes it could be dangerous if you dont supervise your bird
Is that the bird saying "Whee" every time he throws those plastic pieces? Ha! That's awesome. I am looking to get a n Umbrella Cockatoo, they're great looking birds.
@likeZOMGlmfao Oh, please don't get a U2 just because they look nice! They are very demanding and take a TON of attention and care. 'Toos are loud, they can bite hard enough to take your finger off, and they can completely tear your house to shreds if left alone. What I'm saying that you should be prepaired for what you're getting in to. If cared for correctly, they are great, rewarding pets that can provide years of love and entertainment. Just do your reasearch, okay? C:

loll ...really funny bird. i absolutely love cockatoos coz they are so playful and cuddly. I have an african grey and I will get a cockatoo in the future when I get house.
