A small enough area of normal buildings outside like right now looks bad ass. But keep it outside as the financial district or something. Normal buildings on the strip takes away the strip.

Las Vegas must not turn Las Vegas Blvd into San Francisco or New York City. The beauty of Las Vegas is in the colors and the different buildings it has. Las Vegas is special that way. Whoever is building buildings, do not build normal buildings on the strip. Build color and theme. Do not make the Strip too long. A strip is a strip. A good strip, driving wise, is approximately a certain amount of miles only. The strip was too short.

I remember when Elvis Presley came to town, business went up 25% to 35% overnight... Vegas loved Elvis. He was great for this city, and he still holds to this day, all attendance records for the most sold out shows.... amazing. There is a statue of Elvis at the Hilton, with a placque dedicated to his recored attendance... cool. I love Vegas, it is a fun place to live!
