Cymbalta can turn you into a person you don't recognize. Anti-depressants can really be called depressants. The doctors and pharmaceutical companies don't really know how these medications work. They have very bad side effects. My son-in-law had a very bad psychotic break and lost his life due to Cymbalta and Abilify. Google Dr. breggin. Also Google SSRI stories. It could save a life if you get more educated. Question your doctor. After research on several website you will know more about this.

My doc gave this to me for chronic back pain. The funny thing is I'm not depressed, Im just extremely pissed that im in pain all the freakn time! I took this for one day and couldn't sleep at all. Lots 2 days sleep on one 60 mg pill. AND I was flying so high. The most high I have ever been in my life. they kept sending me home from work. Din help me at all. I still hurt. :@( not depressed though.

Ive been on Cymbalta for the last 6 months. Just stopped taking it a few weeks ago and I feel better than I did! Cymbalta made me very tired...withdrawls are a b**** but I got through it!

Depression is causes by not having enough seratonin in your brain and cymbalta replenishes seratonin.. seratonin is what makes you happy..

Cymbalta is too strong for me. I take Celexa and it works really well. Good song as well.
