People!!!..this language is pidgeon..like broken english..this pidgeon language is known in vanuatu and png, but they're a little different from each other. If I'm not mistaken from what I heard when Oshen came here, He is half Png and half Hawaiian. So he's singing english and also png pidgeon...mixtures...it's very nice..

@4rufina i know its pidgin. i speak a little bit of it as my grandad lived in PNG for many years. i visited as a teenager, but with over 800 different languages as well as different dialects of pidgin, understanding everything someone says can be difficult. but you can usually pick up key words to follow a conversation. oh and oshen is white american, not png/hawian. he was just raised in the islands

@bashssm it's pidgion or "tok pissin" a mixture of english portugese and german. but some of the things he says i'm not to sure what language it is. each area of papua new guinea speaks a different dialect of it, as well as their native tounge. my granddad lived there for years and taught me when i was a kid , believe it or not, its actually a pretty easy to learn

Still, I've often imagined living in an area like PNG or the Solomon islands, learning the local tongue and lifeways. The Yelitne language on Rossel Island is particularly tempting for me.
