the D string is well out of tune, so many times I would love to do what flea did coz the bass went out of tune but then realise I only have 1 good bass!!!I'd say that was so satisfying!!!

Not John's return. I just downloaded a bootleg from Stockton, CA, 1998. Which is this. According to the RHCP site they played 13 shows that year, this being the last(20th Sep), the show before this show was a day before, I don't believe Dave left that day and they got John in the next. Even if my bootleg is wrongly titled, their first show is in DC that year(June), and their first CA show that year is also June. I'm also pretty adament Dave left before 1998. They also played CA earlier in Sept.

That sucks man. First song of the show plagued by tuning problems. Hahaha that is kinda hilarious though, that sexy fuckin bass just GONE cause the D was out.

Flea used it as a chance to get the crowd REAL excited though. Props to Flea.
