Case in point: When I was 11, I cleaned my PS2 with a sopping wet napkin, and being young and reckless I wasn't cautious about it. When I was 15-16, I cleaned my 360 with a DAMP napkin and did it VERY CAREFULLY, and soon enough the console either RROD'd on me or suffered from some malfunction. The PS2, despite my lessened care, functions to this day.

Does this matter to you? No, it doesn't. That's why I really don't think your 5th point means much.

is that the remastered footage? it looks terrible. I was expecting a complete overhaul to a God of War 3 standard, but apart from a slightly shinier HUD, the game looks identical to the originals. Just watch the GoW trailers for parts 1 and 2 and tell me if you can see a huge difference!

Well it was graphically impressive on the first x-box, but games like uncharted 2 and killzone 2 have outshined halo 3. Gears of War is innovative, and so is Fable. There's that other game, can't remember the title that i've heard good thigns about, but not gotten a chance to read. I just hear about more innovative stuff on the ps3. MGS4 was innovative, even when it's the 4th installment in the series, HALO and COD fail at doing that.

If you like God of War, then you will probably like the ps2 version of Rygar, which no doubt the action from GoW takes from Rygar action. I used to play the arcade and 8bit NES version of Rygar and beat it time and time again. I think it was the music that made it so addicting, especially late at night. Love GoW, though. Have the collection on pre-order, and I don't do that with any game, nor do I pay retail price on games. I wait for the price to drop for any game. Not this time.
