Once I was playing versus Barioth, I traped him in a Pitfall trap, a Baggi spit sleep acid on him and he fell asleep in the trap LOL.

I didnt know that a Baggi can put a Barioth to sleep.

He is a badass. Once you get use to him, he's a piece of cake. When I first tried hunting him, it took at least five attempts to kill him. Nargacuga isn't all that bad. I killed him my first try. Overrated.

"thing" about the vid: 30= epic auto guard block even tho it wasnt auto guard, i think ur epic cuz ur like the only smart person i this hunt,question. is the japanese sharpen shorter then the english sharpen? cuz when i sharpen(no speed sharp) i do four whetstone stroaks. when u do it u only do 3! so.. just asking. ur epicness amazes me and u have a amazing(and violent) monster hunting future. luk

It's the same. Both games do 3 'strokes' of sharping. If you have speed sharping you can do only 1, which is very helpful.

@MH3ownage In all honesty, Bobo isn't that great. There are so many better players out there than him. The best thing Bobo has done, has been translating the MHP3rd game from Japanese to English and putting it up as a guide.

But as a player, yes, I've seen much better. He doesn't use the lance to its optimum capabilities.

@PROJECTSICKNESS or a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector (which don't work on windows seven so if you've got seven they aren't the way to go) the only problem is Monster Hunter will sometimes drop out for no specific reason it's annoying yes but in the end the game is worth it hope i helped:)

@PROJECTSICKNESS it does have HR and it goes all the way up to HR999 (although i don't know if anyone's ever reached it exception being the Japanese who kick ass at this game) but High Rank you get at HR31 after your Jhen Mohran Urgent and yes it is reasonably easy to set up you just need a wireless Router (which most people should have for their internet anyway nowadays) or some other form of connecting to the internet via wireless connection (but no usb dongles the wii won't recognize them)

@thestylishz it's Ingot Armour it's a really good set IMO all it requires is low rank ore (easily obtained in the volcano) & a rare scarab (also easily obtainable in the volcano) and it gives Windproof (HI) Thunder Res +10 and Guard Boost

i commend you for aiming at the tail at first, which if cut off, shortens the range of some attacks, but that should be the 2nd thing you go after, the first thing are the wings, which once both are broken, Barioth will be slower, especially on ice, and on ice, can stumble dropping a shiny, and giving you openings for attacks, though nice hunt! i never fight this thing without my Djinn, gotta love the Fire SnS

@MaZiiful First, it's spelled SnS, being the "n" the shortcut of "and". Second, the SnS is the fastest weapon. Third, the SnS shine by it's elemental damage more than it's raw attack. Fourth, you can use items while the SnS is unsheated (the fact you can use instantly a Potion and then continue attacking is great). You call it a "weapon for noobs" 'cuz it isn't big as other weapons? You have any complex that you fix it with GIGANTIC weapons? Is not: SHUT UP, and grow and madure, kid.

And by "last time" I mean the moment when fighting the Qurupeco (I guess) I push by accident the button to use the item while running with the sword unsheated, then my character stop moving and start using the item (potion or whetstone) and the fu[censored] got a free hit. -_-

@Snubbsii If you have a wireless router go and pull out the black cord from the back for 10 sec. Dont pull out the other ones just the black one or whatever one doesnt look like a cable chord. This may solve your problem. If it doesnt work either call your internet provider or get a flash drive with wi fi(wifi max for ex.)

@percyjakson1 Because monsters has differents sizes each time you fight them ... don't you see the "Size thingy" that appears as you finish the battle? There are smaller ones, and biggers ones. The ones with the Golden Crowd are the Top of each.
