To truly understand the game, one must understand the music as well. The music also tells the story and without the music, Halo wouldn't be awesome. Thank you Marty for such beautiful music. Let's see if 343s new composer is going to kick ass on the music for Halo 4.

im not sayin that halo doesnt seem a bit "over actiony" at some parts, but all-in-all, i think the Halo franchise deserves a medal/award, perhaps a nobel prize, or maybe the "Noble" prize. pun.
My parents were against video games and I only played when at a friend's house rarely. But Halo is what has been memorized eternally into my life. I struggle not to cry at this overpowering work of art. Even so, I watched a walk-through of every Halo from youtube. Absolutely the best video game story ever. And I've watched Batman Arkham City and Asylum, still doesn't compare to Halo. A huge factor is the music forever sketched in my mind.
May I be able to buy an Xbox when Halo 4 comes out.

The people that are saying 343 is/will ruin Halo are incompetent. The people at 343 are the ones that had the real vision for what this game could and should be, and how the franchise could be successful. Bungie RUINED Halo and almost killed it altogether. Halo fans can sleep soundly that control of this franchise is in the hands of the people that can make the best game for both serious and casual gamers, and can continue to build upon the series and make it last.

It was fun seeing what we would get. The maps were much more creative in Halo 3. And there were way more weapons Halo 3. In reach your basically forced to use the DMR. The custom games were shit in reach and nobody played them. Halo 3 was better. Your not a true fan. I bet you haven't even played Halo 2

Sorry, but I'm a Reach pro, in Halo 3, any n00b can pwn, Hence thank the overpowered melee, no bloom, bleed-out damage, multiple nades etc etc making killing for Noobs even easier in Halo 3, and its the other way around, everybody ALWAYS chose Construct on Halo3, while with Reach it changes a lot, like for Zombies everyone goes for Sword base, while for snipers Hemorrhage etc etc.
I played all Halo games but 2 and ODST, I'm glad I played Halo 1 as the first..

Halo Reach's matchmaking is horrible IMO. You called out bloom as support. Bloom is actually a game breaking flaw. Bleed through damage makes SENSE- why should a spartan with twelve rounds put into him take as much damage as someone with perfect shields? Multiple nades? What do you mean? The nades in Halo Reach are grenukes (Not that that's a bad thing). Also, Reach's maps are all GRAY. I hate it so much.

Bloom was most certainly not in Halo CE. That's called spread. Also, bleed through damage isn't stupid. It makes sense. Read my opinions on it. I love Forerunners too, but the maps are still all gray. Construct and Narrows were complete Forerunner constructs, but their art styles were spectacular, as opposed to the gray backgounds of Pinnacle and Asylum and the Cage.

You know what's sad, I feel like this is the only franchise right now with not only a great multiplayer, but one of the best stories ever told. People nowadays don't give a damn about the story. People even say halo sucks, well, I don't care what you people say, I grew up with halo, it's one of the best game franchises I ever played. The story is incredible, the multiplayer is awesome. It's my all time favorite game franchise, and I will never forget it.
@Ins3ktz Reach isn't that bad, but ya, if could have done better, as for mass effect, kind of hard since they are two different genres, Halo is an FPS, but Mass Effect is an RPG. I like them both a lot. For Halo I liked Halo CE, Halo 3, and Halo Reach, mostly Halo CE and Halo 3. For Mass Effect, I mostly liked Mass Effect 2

Halo CE still had the best campaign, but still, out of all the other campaigns, Halo 3 was THE best next to Halo CE. It was awesome, emotional, memorable. I thought it was a great ending to the halo trilogy. I know a lot of people play reach and I also think it's awesome. But Reach will never..NEVER, replace the memories I had with Halo 3, the campaign was great, the multiplayer was flawless. I'll never forget it. It was a work of art in my eyes. Besides, it's what got me into xbox live.

As much as I'm excited for a new halo game that's coming out, I actually wish they didn't have the legendary ending in Halo 3, to me, this was the true ending to the halo trilogy. There are many games, Battlefield, Half-life, but to me, this was a masterpiece trilogy. Some may disagree with me, but they can think what they want. To me, the end of Halo 3 was the true end to the trilogy.
@TheGhostOfReach well, I'm still excited, and I'll let them continue the story, I just hope they don't blow it. Like Certain Horror franchises, there's a chance of the sequels getting worse and worse, but who knows, this might turn out good, I hope. I just don't want one of my all time favorite franchise be ruined before me.

Bloom was most certainly not in Halo CE. That's called spread. Also, bleed through damage isn't stupid. It makes sense. Read my opinions on it. I love Forerunners too, but the maps are still all gray. Construct and Narrows were complete Forerunner constructs, but their art styles were spectacular, as opposed to the gray backgounds of Pinnacle and Asylum and the Cage.

@Ins3ktz Its basicaly the same thing, like in Bloom, if you want to pace all your shots you need to control your RoF, but in Halo CE, it was the same, if you keeped holding the trigger it would be hard getting the 3 head-shot kills, unlike if you use it as a semi-automatic weapon., also Construst was the worst map ever, it's a horrible map which I despised, and I seriously didn't understand what you said about Bleed-out damage.. but I'm glad its gone.. was too random..

It's not even near the same thing. In bloom your rate of fire is dependent on accuracy. You could eliminate spread in CE by semi auto-ing the pistol, but you could still fire it at the same rate by semi auto-ing. Bleed through damage makes SENSE- why should a spartan with twelve rounds put into him take as much damage as someone with perfect shields?

You know what's sad, I feel like this is the only franchise right now with not only a great multiplayer, but one of the best stories ever told. People nowadays don't give a damn about the story. People even say halo sucks, well, I don't care what you people say, I grew up with halo, it's one of the best game franchises I ever played. The story is incredible, the multiplayer is awesome. It's my all time favorite game franchise, and I will never forget it.

@Ins3ktz Reach isn't that bad, but ya, if could have done better, as for mass effect, kind of hard since they are two different genres, Halo is an FPS, but Mass Effect is an RPG. I like them both a lot. For Halo I liked Halo CE, Halo 3, and Halo Reach, mostly Halo CE and Halo 3. For Mass Effect, I mostly liked Mass Effect 2

Halo CE still had the best campaign, but still, out of all the other campaigns, Halo 3 was THE best next to Halo CE. It was awesome, emotional, memorable. I thought it was a great ending to the halo trilogy. I know a lot of people play reach and I also think it's awesome. But Reach will never..NEVER, replace the memories I had with Halo 3, the campaign was great, the multiplayer was flawless. I'll never forget it. It was a work of art in my eyes. Besides, it's what got me into xbox live.

As much as I'm excited for a new halo game that's coming out, I actually wish they didn't have the legendary ending in Halo 3, to me, this was the true ending to the halo trilogy. There are many games, Battlefield, Half-life, but to me, this was a masterpiece trilogy. Some may disagree with me, but they can think what they want. To me, the end of Halo 3 was the true end to the trilogy.
