I know I liked it too much. We couldn't spot the Tiger while on an elephant. But Managed to capture a gud length of video in Jeep. Thanx for the Comment.
Great video of a tigress in Jim Corbett Park... I was there in late May of 2010 for two nights in the Dhikala Lodge... besides seeing many elephants, deer, gharials, and an Indian minitor lizard, I did see, from the tower near Dikhala Lodge, one tigress lying in the Ramganga River... she lounged there for 2.5 hours and then left... I was able to video and photograph her from that tower when the winds blew and created a momentary tree opening... your video is really great!... Thanks for posting.
She is an adult tigress and is sent marking. She also came and smelt the ground which tells me that she is either trying to assert her territory or she is in oestrus.
yaa.. read "Man Eaters of Kumao" by Jim Corbet and go visiting the park.. you will have goose bumps while u read the book.. and same happens when u stroll around amid thick wilderness inside the park..
I haven't read the book but I will do for sure. I am going to visit Corbett National Park next summer again. So I'll make sure I read the book before I go. Thanks
Sorry mate, but an awful piece of music. But I'd love to go to Corbett National Park, if you've ever read any of Jim Corbett's books about the maneaters in India you'll see a totally new perspective on the animals. Fantastic video, do a 2nd without the xfiles :P
Thanx for the comment. Actually there was not much of a sound in the video. I thought it might be boring to see without any sound, so I put some music.
