  • @GeraldAnderson Me too. I decided to try that hair loss site HairLoss101. net (remove space) because it contained all natural ingredients and didnt have any nasty side effects. Id tried another hair loss remedy before and had to stop because of the side effects. Im now seeing hair growing back in and I dont have any side effects

  • 27948 bald lollll

  • Yes as the previous posters have said, please give us an update on your hair and could you tell us the total price for your transplant please?

  • Mark, are you still happy with your hair transplant?

  • fabulous results..the scar doesn't even look visible..do you mind if I ask how much did you pay for this procedure?

  • why didn't you have the FUE procedure?

  • Hunkydaboyz, I have question did u before so what happened also u said shave it, is it will grow back procedure area? Can u explain to me thanks

  • worse thing i ever did in hinsight was spending over 7 grand on a hair transpant , as you get older , its all thins out anyway, my advice just shave it off its a cool look now , save your money

  • You look great man. Ive noticed also since your initial video you look a lot fitter and you've lost some fat around your face. Your face looks more defined and chiselled so to speak and this makes your hairline look better. I guess facial exercises would help in this regard. Youve mentioned costs before and overall its not that much more than a hairpiece- well less really considering the upkeep of a hairpiece. Well done.

  • hey. my boyfriend is planning to do bosley, did you do research on them prior to going with your doctor? and how much did yu spend? and are you also doing propecia?

  • @dralldaii809

Bosley are butchers. Don't go to UK clinics ever. Please

  • @flashu im in the us does it matter?

  • @flashu all UK clinics are bad?

  • Dr. Paul Cotterill. You can find him on Google. He's in Toronto

  • @MarksHairBlog Is there a lot of side effects to hair transplant ?

And how long did it take to get the results and if you can how much was the hair transplant? (If you can help me cause i might get a hair transplant but i need information if you can help me) so please help me and thanks for your help .

  • Dr. Paul Cotterill. Search for him on google. He's in Toronto.

  • hey is it possible you give me the name of the doctor ,?thank you

  • Thanks for showing this.I was told you couldn't have a short haircut with a hair transplant because the scar would be visible. Now I know I would be comfortable with a short haircut after a transplant.I'm just not sure I want to take the drugs and medications to keep the rest of my hair from falling out.

  • i really enjoy watching you videos. your hair was did not appear thin or receding from the beginning (i know you have heard that already). but its a personal choice and its what makes you happy. i feel my hair is receding and people tell me its not ,but i believe it is. my hairline really bothers me and since viewing your videos i feel confident that there is a solution to hair loss. your hair looks great. i would love to have your hair!

  • The hair transplants they do nowadays look great but I don't like the idea of having to take Propecia on top of that. Both expensewise and just the idea of having to be in medication the rest of my life.

  • do you have to pay dr. cotterill in one big chunk or can you make monthly payments?

  • I can't remember now. But if you search YouTube for. Time Lapse Hair Transplant Cotterill, you should see the video Dr. Cotterill did of my surgery. He has a whole series of videos. It says in the video how many. I always forget.

  • WOW. how many transplants did you have?

  • im kind of balding :/ but how many grafts did you get and how bad was your hair prior? Your hair looks amazing btw.

  • Wat Was THE Cost And HoW mAny GrAftS Did u GET DOne ??

  • Question how many grafts did you ask for?

  • what a man! ;^)

  • wow that scar is non existent to the naked eye. I actually have way more visible ones on the back of my head just from making bad decisions. by the way are you on propecia too? Im so confused about that drug. Some people say its great while others say it causes permanent side effects. It would be nice to hear about it from someone who is actually using it, that is if your even using it.

  • @JetBlack7000 hello i saw your comment on youtube about propecia if you need to talk about it let me know i am on it and had a recent transplant yahoo me at cobram85

  • Brilliant results man. The thing I don't understand is that say if the balding continues, then what? Because they can only take so much hair from the back?

  • well mark, how many hairs were transplanted do you know?

  • looks great mark but ive got NUMBNESS ABOVE THE SCAR!!!! , MAN NOBODY TOLD ME THAT , I PROBABLY STILL WOULD HAVE DONE IT BUT BE ADVISED , im a mouth out from surgery how long does it take for the feeling to

    come back??

  • Dear Mark, I don't know how to thank you for posting these videos. I've been thinking about getting the transplant done myself for a while. I just don't know how much it hurts. Pain is my only concern. Also, how long does it take to recover? And if one wants to do 2 sessions what's the wait time in between? Can it be done in a month.... 2 sessions in case I need the extra session. Also, I couldn't tell if you had a scar even though I was looking for it. It looks pretty amazing. Again, thank you.

  • You look so much younger compared to the before video... How much might a procedure like this cost? I hope you don't mind me asking.

  • What an inspiration man. Just had mine done 2 weeks ago.

I have darker hair than you. I wasn't completely bald like some guys, but rather my hair was noticeably thinning. I'm 30 but started noticing my thinning around 25.

The hardest part for me is that I did experience shock loss from my existing hair and the tops of some of the new implants have fallen out. I'm told this is normal and that it will grow back within a few months.

2 weeks later, my hair looks thinner than when I came in.

  • Yup. The almost all the new ones fall out - that's guaranteed. But they do grow back and stay. And the shock loss does make you feel like your hair was thinner than it was when you started. But after a couple weeks, the new ones start to grow back. And all the shocked ones will grow back too. I'm going to ask my doctor to send me the before and after photos he has taken over the course of my treatment. I couldn't believe how thin my hair was in the front compared to now.

  • Hey sparkysxx. I didn't actually say anything about FUE being "no good". I meant to convey that FUE has its place, and there are very good reasons for when to do it and not to do it. FUE does have the problem that the doctor is not using a microscope to split the hairs. He is using a round scalple to try and go around a set of grafts. The problem is the scalple extracts 2 hair Follicular Units, and you cut through a natural 4 hair unit, you're splitting up a set of roots.

  • This leads to some of the roots being damaged, and making the units useless. I was just pointing out that the latest technology isn't always the best in every situation and that a good doctor will weigh carefully what your options are. My doctor does doe FUEs, he just makes sure to advise clients of all the possible draw backs of BOTH procedures.

  • scar looks good but I think you need to run your hands up slower because its too fast to get a good look at it.

  • looks good mark. Any regrets? Do you have to take anything like propeica to keep the hair? did you have to change your lifestyle at all as far as activities and hiding it from friends? im considering one but my loss is a little more advanced than yours.

  • Not a single regret. This has been the absolute best thing I have ever done. I will do it again when necessary. There was NO life change. It's like I went from being 35 to being 29 again. Screw what people say. It's my fucking hair, I will put it wherever I will damn well please!!!! It's GREAT! I just got to see my before pictures from my doctor, and my after pics. I was completely blown away at my before pics. I can't believe how thin I let my hair go before I took action!

  • I got a hair transplant in my crown area. I am also documenting my progress in videos. Let me know what you think of them!

  • Wow...thanks for all the posts! It helps soo much. Looks great!

  • Thanks for posting these they are very helpful for those of us contemplating HT

  • I'm 26 and started losing my hair about a year ago. My hairline is receding in the front like yours was. I've always had thick gorgeous hair that I appreciate, so I dread going bald like my Dad. I'm just starting to look into hair replacement options. Do they simply transplant hair to the front of your head to give a lower hairline? If so, won't your hairline continue receding beyond the transplanted area towards the back? I know this is an expensive procedure, but what was your actual cost?

  • Yeah, I was wondering the same thing? what about the areas more toward the center of your head?

  • Yes, that's EXACTLY what I'm wondering about. Seems like it'd be pointless to have this procedure if that were to happen.

  • I had a transplant and regret having gone through it. I found a doctor who agreed to place plugs behind my existing hairline. Poor choice on my part. Not to mention the doctor should have refused. My hair is now receding after 12 years. the plugs are showing. Accept the aging process. I wish I had.

  • If you get a good doctor (and you really have to be careful here) They will tell you they can't predict the future. A good doctor will not do FUE, if they think you will lose a lot of hair, because FUE can damage some of the viable tranplant units (by cutting "transecting" the roots) A good doctor will tell you this up front. I had "strip excision" ... they took a strip and disected it under microscopes to yield the MOST amount of viable transplant follicles.

  • A good doctor will be cautious and spare your transplantable hairs for areas where they are most needed. You WILL get thinner over the years....so a good Dr. will recognise that and make sure that there is enough hair to "go around". And don't forget - Transplants are not what they used to be...they don't do the hairs in "clumps" any more. it's hair by hair. FUE is good, but ONLY in certain cases.
