When you said Mate in 3 starting from here that was not forced, and white is still way ahead. If the queen took the knight on f5 I am fairly sure black would then take that queen with his d4 knight to gain the material as he has not check. Then the following move white would take the bishop on g2 with his rook. And the end result of that is white being down 1 pawn but up a bishop pair which is more than enough for an easy win.
After that queen being hung white had a won game, but the hardest game to win is a won game because you already have the sense of victory. Black just wanted it more.
Try posting a video showing how to win without a queen against a formidable opponent. Not, how to win against a passive playing retard. I mean come on, after Kb8 who wouldn't play Qf7? noob match!!
If he captures the checking piece, then he is out of check. In case you misunderstood the video, I showed what I thought that will happen. Unfortunately, I ignored the white queen in my plan and blundered my queen... :(
Of course I was lucky! What do you think, am I a god that I messed up my queen and still can easily defeat my opponent? Of course not! I was very lucky as my opponent jusz hopped round with his queen and forgot to castle away.
About Qf2... you are right, I would probably lose if he plays this. I would have tried to castle and launch a suicide attack on his weak king's position (check his pawn islands!), but if he plays Bg2 and O-O after Qf2, I would have resigned.
Yeah, sorry if I sounded a bit bitter with that last post. I guess I was expecting some kind of crazy queen sac....and I'd have to agree with GreenCastleBlock, that checkmate was very nice.
That is an amazing checkmate. Your opponent's pieces were on exactly the wrong squares! Great illustration of how people lose up a queen - by suspending good development principles and only playing with the extra queen.
You've also pointed out a tactical blind spot for many players: when the queens each come out to opposite wings, doing different things, yet they are connected horizontally!

I really wanted to watch the video, but that music is too much for me. It's too bad because I would have liked to see the game.

It was just luck that you won that game. At 4:07 after Be7, Qf2 would have nullified any potential advantage you might have had.
