FYI: Cernnunnos is pronounced kare (long a) nun (long u) nos (long o) Also, Baphomet is yet another archetype of the One, and if you look carefully at his picture, he resembles closely the descriptions of Pan the Horned One, and of course since people are taught to be afraid of their darkness within, and the fact that Baphomet HAS been connected so much with Satan, the image of the Baphomet is debased, just as Wicca/Paganism was debased by the Christian faith.

@Lemon5eed Like will most people who are religious we work, raise kids, are live have other things in it but wicca is the foundation. Christians do not spend all day meeting other christians. We have similar days in the end its only our beliefs that differ. Also just so you know the horned one is also called Pan or Cernunnos and when the catholic church or Christians started building chruches they use pan turned into satan to help convert heathens aka pagans aka me.lol

@reneedooma some i know off the top of my head, cuz to be honest i am kinda a geek that way, but just type in greed gods or egyptian gods and see what pops up you can even find some of the sites that tell the stories. I know most of them from just being me. I love history so i find all that kind of stuff enjoyable. Mostly i just like to learn so i will just search random stuff. Geeks of the world unite! lol

To me, the Earth Goddesses, Sun Gods, etc from all of these pantheons are all the same. So for example, Gaia and Terra are the same Earth Goddess, just different names. In my opinion, we don't know the names of these deities. Heck we don't even know if they actually exist.

Video was great, very informative, but i do have to disagree with you on 1 aspect. Many people would disagree with you on the fact that the god is as important as the Goddess. Mother Goddess, she represents the Earth, many believe she encompasses everything including all genders. Several people call them "the Goddess and her Consort" Consort is in no way as important as the Goddess. Sure, many people worship both, but its misleading to say you are missing out if you don't worship both.

@MissPurpleMystic The way i think about it is that wicca is alot about balance there is no light without dark and no goddess with out god. I have talked to alot of wiccans and read many articles and books who say that if it is balanced in worship then it is much fuller, Many of the stories of the goddess are about their relationship to one another, so i believe he is important. But in the end these are my beliefs and i don't expect everyone to agree with me

@brandiefilth i don't know what book your reading but most use the goddess diana they are using the one from Roman mythology not christian. and in Wicca we don't believe in a ultimate evil like the devil. we believe that everything has a good and bad side or light and dark side like the yin yang nothing is all good or all bad hope that helps

Pick up "Wicca - A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham and "Spiral Dance" by Starhawk. Do lots of research online and in books, even if you have to find them in the library instead of buying them. Learn, learn, learn before you dedicate yourself to any religion, including Wicca.

@StaringAtTheMoon793 they are all part of the divine great spirit. Personally, I don't believe in them as specific "gods" - I believe in them for what they stand for. They aren't real, they were "invented" by early man to help them to understand the things in nature that they cold not control. You can worship whomever you want, but Nyx is no more real than Minnie Mouse. In my humble opinion, of course ;)

Jesus, however, was a real person. And I know lots of wiccans who like/recognize Jesus.

@SuperDizzielizzie I am rather low on funds for buying ritual items, all i have in my possesion is some amethyst, a pentacle, and a pendulum or two. I also have a book of shadows but cant use it unless i had the ability to do spells/rituals which I do not since I am poor ha ha. I usually just work on my clairvoyance and meditation. The only "spell" I know is a sphere of my own energy that stops negative energy/malevolent forces if I feel danger. Know how to get some cheap spell gear??

@9000failurez I have said it before and I will probably say it a hundred times the stuff we use in spell don't have to be expensive if you are doing a spell about love there are cheap solutions instead of using roses quarts crystal you can use a pink or red candle or rose petals. This is why it is important to know as many correspondences rocks, colors, flowers, herbs, runes, etc) as possible because that way you can substitute.
