Sorry, but Ann Coulter looks like the big winner in this. The protest did her more good than harm and gave her 10 times the national exposure she would have had otherwise (not to mention the outpouring of sympathy from a public that now thinks Canada censors political speech). When people shout others down like this it makes them look like they can't win a true debate on the issues. Ann Coulter should have just been allowed to speak and those students should have acted more like adults.

Or they could take a cue from those in London (Ontario) and, if they disagree, entertain her talk so that they can see what she has to say, know her opinions, and ask her questions. But hey, causing riots and creating conditions that interfered with her speech works too...*facepalm*

There are laws against hate speech in Canada, which is kind of what Coulter is speading what with the banning Muslims from airports plan. You can't tell me thats not prejudiced.

It is hate speech or "kinda hate speech"?
People are misquoting her and attributing statements she hasn't made. Also, that comment about muslims in airports was from about 9 years ago and she just said all muslims should be checked out.
Even if one hold the opinion that we should bad muslims from airports,....that's not hate speech! It's just an opinion, it's not inciting violence or hatred, it's just a personal opinion. You can't just say that anything you dislike is hate.
