  • @sillygayboy yes it does

  • I think there is a link in video games and as. Even with ADHD and video games. I think the video games does do concentration.

  • @Shoes454 Do you think it helps us concentrate? I think there is something very mesmerizing about it to ADHD kids and the colors and graphics are strangely addicting. It helps coordination also.

  • Hey Dude.....for me it was the game: Banjo&Kazooie. It totally sucked me in, because I transferred myself into the characters. My social life was almost non-existent, because people never got the whole video game 'addiction'....( and also because they thought I was weird for being into ghosts and spirits and always visiting graveyards). Thank you for uploading videos again! Love to your hubbie!! XX

  • @gyqz I haven't really tried that one. Glad you understand video game addiction and not having friends. I still want to make videos but I have another job now and less time but I always have videos I want to make.

  • i was same way i admit my video game love is still powerful though however i have developed other interests as well also life in general for me is different now guess that comes with growing up thanks for sharing bud!

  • @clb0884 You're welcome and yes life for me is much better as an adult. It makes a lot more sense. It sounds like it's the same for you.

  • Meerkats were my obsession for years. Come to think of it they still are and I will be taking this obsession to the grave. My other big obsession was Lion King. My obsessions have always been animal related. My parents just hated hearing about meerkats for the umpteenth time. I was obsessed with meerkats YEARS before Meerkat Manor and Compare the Meerkat. At the time, no one knew what they were. I never had any intrest in people or making friends.

  • @misspinkpunkykat I'm glad you can see what I mean. If I can share something with you; at age 9 once my mom took me to a psychologist and told her in front of me how I had no friends (which I didn't even think was true) and her talking about this kept going till I started crying and couldn't stop. What mom couldn't see was that I was happy as I was. People try to force people to be "normal" and it's so not cool. People need to let people be who they are even if it's different.

  • @SillyGayBoy My parents never really cared about my lack of friends and were always telling me how some people aren't really one's friends and that I should only worry about people that matter. My parents have a LOT of AS traits themselves.

  • @misspinkpunkykat My dad has a lot of AS traits which is where I think I got it from. Boyfriend says we have very similar speaking and physical mannerisms. He's super smart with reading stuff but not with social stuff. I'm smarter with social stuff but not with book stuff. He has the lacking empathy part of autism at least somewhat; like thinking I should do better in school when I really couldn't. "Look Me In The Eye" the authors son had less Asperger's then he did.

  • @SillyGayBoy Yeah, I think AS is genetic. But I was adopted.

  • For me it was TV. Video games too, but not as much as TV. I think I would get obsessed with certain shows because they would come on at certain times. Kinda reminds me of Rainman and his obsession with People's Court and Wapner, although I wasn't nearly that bad, but I would get pissed when I couldn't see one of my favorite shows because of some event that my parents made me got to. I would record some things, but often times the timer was set wrong and I'd be so upset. I collected videos too.

  • @ChuckMeIntoHell Yeah me too I remember once when mom and dad said they'd record something and didn't bother to and I was really hurt by it. A different time for my dad too. Things like that can be really important when you are little but luckily tivo has come a long way since then. We were all fans of Simpsons and Nickelodeon.
