  • Hello my friend! How are you? I liked your songs so much. A big hug to you.

    Ricardo

  • This is kinda cool, this song

Not too familiar with country, aside from Mike Nesmith, but the guitar on this is pretty good. And understated

    More of this

  • hey man- nice comment- i used to not know anything about country/bluegrass/folk, now i am obsessed and consider myself very knowledgeable. it is funny how you can hear one song and think it is a cool song. you should really see what other folk music is out there cause there is a whole world of excellent music...on top of that, if it is nice guitar work you are looking for you will find some of the best guitarists in the world playing on some of the traditional country artists recordings.

  • you gotta love the immediacy of music mate

  • great song

  • Is there a version or video of this without the person talking in the middle? Thanks.

  • Dear Trogiss,

Yes, this song, "Colorado Trail" appears on my "Row Of Doors" CD and also my "Cowboy Classics" CD, both of which are available as downloads and/or CD through all online distributors, such as iTunes, amazon, etc.

    Thanks!

    Your friend in music,

    Rick Devin

  • Alright, thanks.

  • Trail hazards were generally few, as The CTA does a fantastic job of maintaining the trail. The primary concern is what each winter leaves behind: Deep, impassable snow sections, or even acres of deadfall trees! These can generally be bypassed - but not always - and several sections we needed to dig or cut our way through. In planning your trip, I'd recommend a close watch on snowpack levels and plan your trip's timing according to its melt off.

    Have fun,

    Your friend in music,

    Rick Devin

  • Thanks for your comments... Our horseback Colorado Trail Ride began in 1997 and finished in 2001. Why such a long time, you might ask? We rode 100 miles over 5 days - each year for 5 years.

    Have fun,

    Your friend in music,

    Rick Devin
