Every singer is UNIQUE. Why you just don't understand that?? Frank is like the JAZZ GOD, and Bono is one of the most big rockstars EVER... they both have different styles, right? So, WHY DO YOU ALL INSIST COMPARING FRANK SINATRA TO BONO?? it's ridiculous!!!

You will be pleased to note that Bono is currently in the recording studio rehearsing 'The Candyman" with the full Frank Sinatra,Jr treatment, all proceeds going to an orphanage in the Jewish sector of Jerusalem and a casino in Lagos.
Sinatra king of the hill period! Greatest singer that can never EVER be beaten by some silly singer who has little or no experience in the real taste and original talented music. Sinatra lives in those who do appreciate his music!
@TheSonyVaio94 little or no experience in real taste and original talented music? please tell me you are not talking about Bono here because you will only be exposing your sad ignorance... (and just in case you may bother to know I love both Frank and Bono, both great singers, this duet is pure fun and genius!)
@roomandahalf Yes you heard me nice and clear! :D More than half of the people will agree with me buddy cause Sintra's voice was unique, he was natural, and he was a symbol of inspiration to thousands of people. Instead Bono... well he is just "Bono".
@TheSonyVaio94 LOL I am actually a girl. Bono has a unique voice too, with an amazing range and power, have you even listened to U2? I love Frank and Bono equally, as many many more great singers, yes that's right there is a whole world of talented, unique and powerful vocalists beyond Frank Sinatra. By the way Frank handpicked Bono and U2 to collaborate with him, so I guess he doesn't have that much of a great taste now does he?
I've been listening to good, bad and great singers for a looong time. Here are two great singers. Whether you like either of 'em or not, they are just that, great. Time will tell. Actually, it already has. :-) And, this is one excellent performance. Two giants. Artists from very different genres; both sounding so well, together. I pity those of you who don't get (appreciate) it. Because, some of us do. Swing on, Frank. Sing on, Paul.
Have you heard Bono's version with Nat King Cole? He KILLS it! Bono would not shake hands with King Cole but he did share the microphone-- passed along by George Martin, the producer. It's a shame they did noyt meet, buyt Bono is a studio professional and he won a bidding war with Madonna for a Somalian adoptee, therefore he is not a racist and he is for the children. Frank had Sammy.

Bono, I worship him. U2: the only band I like..Bono outclasses Sinatra in every way-- but Sting is better than Bono. It's longevity, the long-run, that decides greatness. And I've had tantric sex with Sting, and let me tell you, it lasts a long, long time. In comparison Frankie is a 2 dollar whore in a 15 minute Strip hotel.
@raydog699 "Outclasses"? If I just may remind you, Frank Sinatra was the classiest guy of the 20th century. Albert Francis Sinatra also wasn't a whore, Sting may be, but not him. Such man that accomplished such astounding career will not be out shined by some random artists like Bono or Sting. I highly recommend that you begin to know artists before you accuse them.
What I hate is that Bono can't sing. He couldn't play an instrument so he's 'the singer.' The positive comments here can only be the result of a generational divide that shows the totally subjective quality of fan worship. By any vocal standards, Bono has no voice. Sinatra recognized U2's popularity-period. He had no interest in their music whatsoever. Phil Ramone produced these duets via fiber optics and they were a hit to be sure. Music critics like Will Friedwald or Gary Giddens detest them.
@1915fas you are an idiot, why would Frank need to recognize U2's popularity? Sinatra was big WITHOUT U2, before U2. He recognized a great voice and that is what he did. And sorry, how often do you see Sinatra, Jagger, or Elvis playing instruments? Less than you see Bono playing guitar. Your argument holds no value and you are to be one of those people who think that because someone doesn't listen to your music, they listen to bad music. BTW, critics hated the Clash and Led Zeppelin too.
@cmac1223 Sinatra disliked Elvis and his music. He put him on his show in 1960 to get a big rating. Doubt he listened to U2. Jagger has no voice. He tried to imitate Muddy Waters as Elvis said. You seem to be confessing your ignorance of Sinatra's original recordings. Sinatra scored when singers had no auto tune and had technically more challenging songs. I'm not familiar enough with the Clash to comment. Led Zeppelin was probably the greatest rock band ever. Bono said he can't play guitar.
Bono has an amazing range he sang Baritone, 2nd tenor and falsetto/alto in this song. Wow. But it doesn't hurt when your singing with old blue eyes. I think this is the best duet on the album.
