  • clear the bios and update the new one

  • Good luck with RMA ing your board had the same problem with the xfx 750 i motherboard .. it took the xfx support team 4 months to issue an RMA .. and even then they couldnt get it right .... XFX = waste of money

  • RMA THE BOARD!!

  • @richardnja you are an idiot. You have never setup your own motherboard or you would know that this is fixed the way it was, in the non- noobs section of the computer, the bios.

  • im having same problem too except i cant even go into bios(c-mos) it just freeze at the bios splash please someone help me. i have the same exact motherboard

  • chek ur hardisk connecter if its well pluged

  • mine does too. but my keyboard dont work at all even a usb and or ps/2 also all the recognizing is very slow. i have a evga 790i ultra sli. i was stupid and didn't sign up for the warranty

  • i have had this board for 2 yrs or so and only had one problem and i fixed that myself i love this board!!!!!!!

  • I bought this exact same motherboard brand new and it had a defective memory bus (which I cannot repair myself). I sent it in to be replaced and the replacement was also defective (and appeared used). So I sent that in for replacement. When I got the third one in I tested it one time and sold it on eBay. Never buy XFX motherboards. Huge waste of time.

  • also that CMOS checksum error doesnt look good... many motherboards when dieing shows that message as if there were no cmos battery plugged in the circuit.

  • and remember to only use appropriate screwdrivers and take care with electro static.

  • lol there's a spark coming out of one of the memory sticks.... something is wrong.

if i were you i would unmount that case and test only motherboard+cpu+speaker to see if it beeps and no sparks anymore lol

  • thats not a 680i lt sli thats just a normal 680i

  • its an lt.. notice the missing PCIe slot...

  • lol that spark did not look cool

  • lol i know dude got pwned lol or his pc did :)

  • um where do i find the product number on this motherboard? i need to update the bios

  • turn off the floppy disk.. and flash the yout bios version. That`s all.

  • i have a few questions

    1) is this a pci-e x16 2.0 motherboard

2)how many USB ports can you get max out of it

    3)does it overclock well
