  • será curativo este sonido?

  • I could listen to this for hours

  • Amazing very relaxyng! Love it!

  • Its videos like this one that should be in the millions of views on this site. Not that cute puppies and such are not awesome. But it is in the moment capturing's of un-duplicatable sounds and scenes and happenings that should be pressed to the highest view count.

  • are these nylon strings then?

  • how does it work?

  • @droppinstep The wind blows the strings like a violin bow, there's friction.

  • amazing!

  • There's a kind of harp made specifically for this called an eolian harp.

  • Impossible piano

  • like a dream

  • You know when you tune the strings so that you have a pentatonic scale it is even more beautiful? And you can than play along, whatever strings you play it sounds good.

I always take my harp out on vacation and really feel like part of the universe when the wind likes to make music together with me.

Also very special is that you can feel the resonance of the soundboard before you can hear the sound...

  • awesome!

  • I remember the first time I had my harp outside on a windy day and it made that sound. At first I didn't know where it was coming from and when I found out I was a little spooked, but then I sat back and enjoyed the sound.

  • This is such a magic instrument, I wish I had someone to keep playing it to me the whole day while I paint on canvas... And also living in a castle... surrounded by nature, waterfalls, rainbows and stuff... Is this asking too much?

  • This happens to me all the time, especially wedding gigs by windy lakes. Can be a bit awkward when they're in the middle of their wedding vows.

  • I spent ages dragging my grand piano onto the field....not a peep

  • I like this sound so much, I always go with my harp on any field, should I see that the wind is strong enough that it might play through the strings, last week there were two of us,and the others were wondering why two harpers were walking around the filed with their harps (helt like sailing ships (o:) this sound is most magical, and there is no harper who plays better than the wind itself (o:

  • Its amazing how mother nature plays music. Its as though the planet has a mind of its own.

  • What brand of harp is this? It's beautiful! I tried this with my harp the other day and got some stunning sounds as a result.

  • I'm so glad we evolved ears right now. Way to go noisy predators!

  • Hi, is this a regular harp or is it specifically a wind harp ? Cheers :)

  • im just wondering can u hear it without using a computer and headphones? cause from another site thats the impression i got (i only now just learned about this though) if u can hear it without headphones and just by being near it i would love to have one! :) this is so beautiful

  • Impressive! Ambient sounds of wind! Amazing!

  • lmao. the sound of nature.

  • kinda of live when David hung his harp above his bed and the north wind blew at midnight to awaken him with the harp vibrating sounds to study G_d's Word

  • this is a great sound effect for a video

  • so asome sorry cant spell

  • This is amazing! Sounds wonderful. Thanks for this!

  • Roving minotaur at 1:05?

  • I am so pleased that you are sharing this heavenly sensation with viewers. I try to explain it to my Skype harp students, but until they have experienced, there is no way to appreciate it's magic.

  • I...can...see my clan trough those bushes

  • Sounds like the Frank Family Science Building at Guilford College, Greensboro, NC on a windy day.

  • Beautiful and eerie at the same time...

  • Absolutely beautiful... Nature wants to play...
