I first played the game for the first time when I was five Bubble man stage was a nightmare if the frogs didn't get me the spike balls on the ceiling did.
Jesus christ, I want to be a kid again. This takes me back to the days when the worst worry's on my head were coloring outside the lines, missing the next episode of dragon ball z and making sure that my brother's didn't know I secretly surpassed them on king of the ring when they were away.
@Jjld1990 How is it cheap? The blade is provided in the game from beating metalman. It's not like he cheated or something...that's part of the whole strategy of the game - beat the bosses with the most useful tools first so you can use them for the rest of the stages.
I used to play with the buster on nearly everything too. I wish I tried to find out how much damage the blade actually did, if I had I'd have finished the game a LOT sooner
@Jjld1990 I'm the same way with the Buster. That's because of my stupid pride that in some way i feel beating an enemy with the buster takes more skill or something. It's not cheap using the Metal Blade.......Just smarter. It is the strongest attack in the game, so why wouldn't you use it as much as you can?
try using the crash bombs on quick man, stay in one of the edges an stick a crahs bomb in it, he will jump into you but the crasch bomb kills him instantly
Well Icarus like they have a sewer level in most gains. It's just one of those levels that every game has to have. I don't particularly like water levels my selves sometimes but hey it's all a matter of opinion...Megaman...the original/first game is hard as hell. Finally got past the gutsman stage a few days ago.
I don't know what kind of ears I have. I've never been able to see them myself, and I don't trust mirrors. But back to the music, Wood Man's stage is the most sing-worthy; I enjoy making up lyrics. Others I've played it for (NSF -> MP3) like it as well. But what do we Americans know, right Frenchy? ;)
No all wrong, it should be "Metal Man" and "s'" because I'm not saying Metal Man "is attack", lastly there should be "than" since "then" is used to describe time.
ex: Metal Man kicks ass then and he will always kick ass now.
What? A 's at the end of someones name means it belongs to that person, so Metal Man's attack is correct. If it's on the end of a word it means is, like "What's he doing?"
It's true. The older u get, the less u know about the world. After watching this, I discovered that I know very little about this game. I never knew u could use the Air weapon on Metalman. I always used the Quick Boomerangs--and Bubble Lead on Flashman.
I always used Flashman's power to get past those laser beams. It seems like the only really tough parts of the game were avoiding those lasers and spikes. Maybe if I played it on difficult all the bosses would not have been such pushovers. But with the right weapon it really lets you just steamroll most of them with minimal skill. Still a very fun game. Great music too.
i could not for the life of me get past quickman's level, but nonetheless, this was a a great game to play back in the day and i'm glad that gamecube came with the mega man anniv. collection so that i could play it yet again.
