I thought it was actually rather funny, but the half-hour news show failed for the same reason Daily Show and FoxNews in general succeed. The daily show hits both sides (but conservatives a bit more) and FoxNews hits both sides as well (but liberals a bit more). People like to think their news source is in the middle while it's actually closer to their side. The half-hour news show was blatantly right-wing. It didn't even pretend to be fair. That's why it and Air America failed.
I forgot Dennis Pragar was known for his comedic timing. His jokes may not have been delivered with the comedic grace and wit of your hilarious "Dennis Hastert" reference, then again I dont really consider Fox News and The Half Hour News Hour as a hilarious escape from reality after a hard days work. Prager is not funny, but he is brilliant. These two guys are neither funny or brilliant. In fact, them trying to be funny for 10 minutes after the clip was hugely awkward to watch. I am a conservative and I am funny but I'm not famous.
I also know that there are no famous conservative comedians, they all suck. All the good comedians are liberals.
Also, did the fat guy just say he would have gone liberal in college had he heard an unfunny conservative bit? Good riddance.

so let's judge a news show on the comedy aspect...not the legitimacy on what they were actually saying. being the funniest side of a political party is like being the fastest one legged hop skotcher...nobody gives a shit. these guys might wanna focus more on politics instead of comedy.

I thought it was actually rather funny, but the half-hour news show failed for the same reason Daily Show and FoxNews in general succeed. The daily show hits both sides (but conservatives a bit more) and FoxNews hits both sides as well (but liberals a bit more). People like to think their news source is in the middle while it's actually closer to their side. The half-hour news show was blatantly right-wing. It didn't even pretend to be fair. That's why it and Air America failed.

I forgot Dennis Pragar was known for his comedic timing. His jokes may not have been delivered with the comedic grace and wit of your hilarious "Dennis Hastert" reference, then again I dont really consider Fox News and The Half Hour News Hour as a hilarious escape from reality after a hard days work. Dennis Pragar speaks multiple languages and has written several best selling books. You have every right to disagree with his views, but at least give the man some respect please.

Let's just back to brilliant reporting like Rush Limbaugh's sick improv of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's symptoms and physical effects, which was followed by a brutally insincere apology (seemed forced - though admittedly that's my own interpretation, which is mere opinion).
But his comments speak for themselves - The Simpsons Sideshow Bob becomes Mayor was one of the best satires of Limbaugh.

#1. I didn't agree with Rush's "comments" on M.J. Fox that day, and am not beholden to them in order to be annoyed at the ones I pointed out. To appreciate Prager does not equal agree with everything Rush said.
#2. There's a difference between Rush's belief that Fox was exaggerating his symptoms for political effect and the ones I pointed out being simply childish 'fatty fatty fat fat" insults, which frankly are lobbed to the right far more than to the left.
